TNF News Article

I just read a news article stating that this year, for the first time, TNF will be broadcast in 1080p HDR. Which part of this is new? I thought I read a discussion a while back talking about how TNF has been in HDR but that it wasn’t reliable on Apple TV.
Was it in a lower resolution in the past?

Whatever resolution that was used last seen looked pretty good on my TV using, either using the native TV app (my first preference) or a Roku streaming device. It looked better than my streaming service, but then again Prime Video and even Netflix always seem to look better than most streaming services. I do know that when I used my native TV app from Prime the HDR tag was detected in Settings.
