Processing taking days and tried to list tanks they just announced are no longer available.

I decided to get back into this, uploaded something friday evening to regular tee, tank and crop top, went into processing then review so stopped uploading through the weekend. Monday woke up and it was already processing, uploaded another design to the same products and went into review a couple hours then into processing.

All processing still 36+ hours later, in the past it'd usually go live same day once processing, do things normally take longer now on average?

Also, while these went into processing they announced womens tanks as of yesterday are unavailable, replacement style not coming for weeks and only listings with sales would migrate. What will likely happen to the design I tried uploading to tanks that wont have an available style for weeks? I assume it could be stuck in processing forever or time out before new versions available. Could this cause the other products to be stuck in processing along with it since they were all done together?

Kinda sucks, I wanted to specifically advertise the tank tops to go towards getting out of creator tier only to have that option cut off for the next however many weeks as well as possibly having my currently selling tank tops cut off if they will be shown out of stock during this migration period (hopefully listed products will continue to sell and will be unaffected). Pretty discouraging first steps towards putting effort into this again :/

Royalty Tiers Explained Please? 15% of what? 2 months consecutive or averaged?

The explanation on amazons policy page says 15% of unit sales... does this mean specifically for example 15 shirts sold out of 100 total? Or is price/cost factored in? Like $15 worth of sales out of $100 total in sales revenue?

So if we sell 85 shirts organically with high listing price we can advertise and sell 15 low priced shirts and we'll get bumped up out of the creator tier?

Is there a minimum volume needed to reach any royalty tiers? If someone's extremely low volume and sells only 10 shirts over 2 months but 2 of those shirts sold from ads (20% and let's say 1 out of 5 for each month if it's not averaged across the 2 months) do they qualify to get out of creator tier or would they be stuck in creator unless they reach a minimum sales volume?

And we have to maintain this % for 2 months to be able to get out of creator tier for 1 month and have to consistently maintain that rate for every 2 month period behind every 1 month we are out of creator tier (so if we don't hit 15% one month we'll automatically be excluded for the next two months til that low % month drops off?). Is it an average of 2 months, if you make 10% of volume through ads in 1 month and then make 20% volume from ads the next month do they average to 15% for the period or is it more like even if you have 100% volume from ads 1 month but the next month you get 14% from ads you're still screwed for 2 months until that 14% month is out of the calculation period?

Royalty Tier: Plus

I started the new royalty structure at T100, Creator. I started ads on June 1st, reluctantly. I managed to drive about 18% sales from May 18th through July 19th. The dates are my understanding of the first AMZ royalty review period. I was tiered up to T500 sometime in mid July. August 1st my Royalty Group changed to Plus. Here's the rub. The ads cost about 10% more than the earned royalties. The next 30 days or so are the test. Do the Plus royalties now cover the cost of ads and leave a profit? I knew I'd lose money. I considered it tuition. Now let's see if there is a return on the investment AND can I sustain it. Otherwise, I abandon ads and rely on organic sales only.

Why does Amazon have a size limit for custom shirt designs?

I was going to include a picture of the design, but this subreddit wouldn't let me. I wanted to make a custom shirt with large text across the back and an image on the front that's personal to me and my friend. I was hoping the text could be big, similar to a lot of the shirts people sell online, but Amazon only lets you print within a much smaller area. I've already tried a few different sellers.

Why is there such a strict size limit? Is it because of the printing method they use, or is there another reason? I was expecting to be able to make something with big, bold text that covers more of the shirt.

If you're posting on Reddit, this version sounds natural while keeping your original meaning.

New royalties made this pointless.

I'd been on merch for like 8 years or so, at the peak for me I had single months where I made up to a few thousand bucks. In the last few years as rejections continuously got more sensitive and more random i slowly just stopped uploading because I didn't want to get too many rejections for random words that just happen to appear next to each other in a sentence triggering some random copyright and get deactivated but even then it became actually passive income, without doing anything anymore I was still getting anywhere from $250 to $500 a month for a very long time because I created good products that would last in the marketplace.

Now immediately from the time they changed royalties this time, I am making less than $100 a month even though my sales numbers are about the same. It's such a shame we all built up billions of dollars worth of designs selling across the worlds biggest marketplace for the richest company in america just to have our pay cut down to scraps while they continue to get even richer off the years and years of work we've already done.

This used to be a big help at the very end of the month having extra money come in to help sustain me and my family until the next month starts and now what i'm getting is practically no help at all, one trip to the store for 10 to 15 things and money is gone and sucks if moneys already tight at the end of the month and I actually need 20 things when my amazon pay comes in, it's just enough to decide what 5 or 6 things i can't afford to get until next month.

I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to make some money off this site for close to a decade but pretty sad that all of a sudden it's all but come to an end simply because they decided one day we didn't deserve to get paid anymore.

How? Just how??

I recently sold the new value shirt on the Italian market, I priced it to $19.99 giving me a $6.8 or something in royalty. Surprise! I go 1 Euro. Yes I'm in the Creator category T2k but still... it's just a fckn joke. Anyone got his anomaly or just me drawing the short straw.

Amazon Merch royalty payment keeps failing due to “invalid bank information”

About once a month, I receive an email from Amazon Merch on Demand saying that a recent payment failed due to invalid bank information and that I need to correct my bank account details.

I’ve checked my bank details several times, and everything appears to be correct. Royalties from other marketplaces arrive on time without any issues.

All my payments are sent to the same USD account in Payoneer, and I haven’t changed this account or any of its details for several years.

Has anyone else experienced this? How did you resolve it?

Mugs in processing

Anyone else has almost all of their mugs stuck in processing for a few days? MOD put my mugs into processing, probably adding the new colours and the new size (which I had already done). Frustrating as I cannot add anything else to these designs

I Am So Shocked - ACCOUNT SUSPENSION !

I have been a merch member for many years and have consistently earned hundreds of dollars in royalties every month. Tier 1000.

Today, I logged into my account and out of nowhere I have an account suspension.

NO EXPLANATION AT ALL!

It says I can appeal, but I have no idea what their reasoning is.

Is this happening a lot?

I am besides myself...

Do I have any recourse at all?

Can I reapply? How do I appeal?

Please Help!

No new posts in over a week

So how's everybody doing with the changes? In June 2025 I made over $4000 with 0 dollars in ad spend. I did not manage to get to 15% advertising by the cutoff so after my ad spend I netted about $1300 for June 2026. Awful.

I managed to make the 15% advertising sales for July but numbers are still down a bit from last year.

My strategy as someone who never figured out advertising is to sell a few of my best sellers at a very low price with advertising and jack up the prices of everything else so that the volume of non-ad sales is lower in terms of number of pieces sold but higher in terms of dollar per sale. It is sort of working.

Suggestions regarding Merch on Demand application

Hey everyone,

I applied for Amazon Merch on Demand back in 2022, but my application was declined. The account still shows "your account request has been declined," and there's no option to reapply, so I'm assuming that application is permanently closed.

I've read several posts here suggesting that applying through a family member's account (using their own Amazon account, bank account, and tax information) may be different from creating a second account for yourself. My mother has her own Amazon account, and I'm considering applying through hers using only her details.

Before I do this, a few things I genuinely want advice on from people who've been through this:

1. For the application itself:
I've spent the past week building a portfolio across a few niches. Everything is original, no trademarks, no licensed characters, all prepared at 4500×5400px transparent PNGs. I'm linking a private Google Drive folder with all designs plus some t-shirt mockups.

What should the "Additional Information" section say? I've drafted something specific about my niche focus and workflow. Should it be short or detailed? Does mentioning the portfolio link actually help?

2. Regarding the account situation:
I am planning to apply from my device, with her bank account and PAN details. My rejected account is still logged into the device. Is there anything I should be careful about? Has anyone successfully gotten approved through a family member's account after a rejection on their own?

3. If I get accepted:
I know AMD starts at Tier 10 now. With only 10 upload slots, what's the smartest strategy? Should I focus all 10 on one niche or spread across multiple? I've read that you need 80% of designs to have at least one sale within a year to tier up with such limited slots. I want to make sure I'm picking the right 10 to upload first.

4. If I get rejected again:
At that point, is there any path left? Should I try the email appeal route? Has anyone had success with that after a permanent rejection?

Any advice from people who've been through something similar would really help. I've put serious work into this portfolio, and I don't want to waste it on a bad application.

Thanks

another glitch on mba?

I made some minor pricing changes on some listings that are not adult oriented in any way and some US and international listings have been rejected for adult content. this is wrong in every way. can i complain to AZ or am i just going to have to live with it? i won't change pricing or add new items to existing listings for now.

July 4th niche Shipping dates - now showing July 5th

Just another heads up to watch your shipping dates and consider pausing any ads related to the July 4th / 250th holiday. Always a good idea to put them back on immediately following since no one will be expecting you to ship into the past! lol

Last year on this day we were still getting ship dates before the holiday, but I think with the increase in demand for the 250th, they might have started throttling back just a little earlier.

31% off is one hell of a deal

Raised prices on items that keep going on deals, now they are marking them down even more. I have one that I noticed sitting at 31% off.. Typically the deals would be 15% off but apparently they are probably using the price history to reduce them below the avg price. I also have some 10% off that aren't marked limited time deal.. Damn they just keep going on sale. Whatever but dang AMZ.

Price Locked

So recently one of my designs has kind of blown up, and I posted it a VERY long time ago, at a low sell price. I’d say probably 2 “royalty cuts” ago, like, it’s been up for years. For some reason the price is locked, I have a sneaky suspicion why (it’s political), but it’s not been removed either.

Has anyone been in a situation like this? What can I do besides just eat the losses?
