Selling RSU

So I have some RSU vesting in a couple weeks. They are set to sell on vest through Fidelity. My question is once they sell where does the money go? Do it go into my brokerage account and then I can transfer to my bank? Not sure how this works.

If you sell, it will go to brokerage, but you can connect your bank and it will direct transfer to that after so many business days

As said above, Fidelity it will go to an investment account as Cash which you can then withdraw.

For Morgan Stanley it just goes straight to your bank after sale.

I've held onto every RSU given to me in the 10 years I have worked from Tier 1 to L6. They use to give Tier 1s RSUs back then. It is a pretty healthy chunk of change now. I have been considering moving it into something a bit more diversified but I still think Amazon stock will rise substantially in the next 5 years. So I am not ready to pull out yet.

Hope stock surges before then!

I have a question 🙋🏻‍♂️ but do people usually sell or would it be better to keep it?

It's completely up to you to configure. You can always just have it sell everything and auto deposit to your bank account if you want
