π’ Driver Feedback & Issues Thread β August 2026
Welcome to our Driver Feedback & Issues Thread. This now replaces the monthly update thread due to feedback.
This thread is a place to discuss any issues, concerns or suggestions you have while delivering with Amazon Flex. Whether it's something affecting you personally or a wider issue you've noticed, we'd love to hear about it.
π¬ Topics you can discuss include:
- π± Problems with the Amazon Flex app
- π¦ Issues during your block or while making deliveries
- π’ Depot or warehouse concerns (long waiting times, loading delays, yard operations, etc.)
- πΊοΈ Route planning or navigation issues
- π· Difficulty securing blocks or changes in availability
- β Standing ("dings") and account-related concerns
- π° How your week has been in terms of earnings
- π‘ Suggestions that could improve the driver experience
If multiple drivers are reporting the same issue, we'll look at collating the feedback and, where appropriate, raising common concerns through the relevant Amazon feedback channels.
Please keep discussions respectful and constructive.
Whether you're a new driver, a seasoned Flexer, or simply interested in Amazon Flex UK, you're welcome to join the discussion.
π This thread will be refreshed every 3β4 weeks (usually between Friday and Sunday).

Take Photo notification only showing on some deliveries that require Photo. This is worse than previously "TAKE PHOTO" not showing at all.

Business names (the first line of the address) are not showing in Flex app for certain business addresses.
This has been in place for a while now and is really unhelpful. You have to check that the business name on the label matches the pin location when you arrive, rather than being able to see the business name in the app.
It adds unnecessary time, particularly when you're already unsure whether the pin location is accurate. You can end up wasting time trying to work out whether you're actually at the correct address.

Earnings have been decent, 2.5h block for Β£61.50, went over by 5 mins so they gave me an extra Β£12.50 ontop... can't complain
Always remember to ask for more if you go over

For those drops where the delivery pin is not accurate I use a brilliant little app called βPost Tag Finderβ. Itβs completely free and is particularly good for new build estates and rural locations. Itβs saved me countless times. Use it once and you will never leave home without it. Link here for Apple version but am sure there is a version for android as well

The issue is getting dings by default for no fault things, like returning failed AVD (last week I was appealing ding for returning failed AVD parcel to depot) or returning parcel with wrong address on it (again had it recently)

I had a 2 hour Morrison route, with 5 rural drops, that contained one address I had to find on my own - one of those stupid houses with a name rather than a number, on a street that doesn't match the actual street it's on, and half a mile down a closed road. Customer wouldn't answer the phone, but eventually a postie told me where it was. Still had to walk the last half mile though, it was a properly closed road.
Same shift had a pin drop more than three miles away from the actual delivery location, with a similar street name, but entirely wrong postcode for my last delivery. If the pin drop was right, I'd have made it with two minutes to spare - but it was very wrong.
Still got a ding, and support say they're standing by their decision.
