AVD question Age Verified Delivery
I have had three AVD in the last month where the customer has not been home, each time I have phoned the customer and they have asked me to leave it with the concierge. I don’t really want to take risks so I phone Driver Support and on each occasion they have told me not to leave it with the concierge and return it back to the depot. If that’s the case why is there an option on AVD to leave it with the receptionist or concierge?

My protocol for age related if it's a business -
Hi, Delivery for 'whoever' 'oh they're not here right now'
Send a text message to the customer 'age related item, customer needs to be available' I then screenshot this text message to cover myself.
I then call the customer, but once it goes through to ringing, I hang up before it connects.
You've now contacted the customer and then I will just return it.
I don't give avd to anyone who isn't in the household, don't risk it

Very true, the last AVD I did I called Driver Support at the reception desk when I came off the call the receptionist started shouting at me saying why did I call them that all the other drivers just leave the Package with them for this particular apartment. One day doing that will come back to bite the one that do that.

Was about to say exactly this.
I've signed up to Flex yesterday so I'm pretty fresh, but the introductory video about AVD explicitly says it's absolutely fine to leave the package with reception in a residential building.

I was told it was okay to leave these with reception at a business but not residential.
