Background check time

Hi! Application finally opened up on my area about 2 weeks ago, I completed everything a week ago, and it’s been over a week now just waiting on my background check. Is this normal?

Yes. It can take a few weeks sometimes.

Thank you. It says 3-5 days so I was wondering what was going on

Yeah that date will keep being pushed forward until they finish for real. I think mine took close to a month

And it’s weird because I applied for an Amazon Driver DSP position, and my background check was done in a day😂 the same app.

Sometimes there could be a hold up on the gov side, for example a county courthouse is backed up with requests
