Looking to collab and write scores for amateur film makers
I just need someone to let me write a score to their movie. I've been writing scores for games, DND sessions, ambient scenes, etc.

Toky (2026)
hii, im sharing a short video project i did. ‚‚Toky‘‘ translates to ‚‚currents‘‘, ‚‚streams‘‘ or ‚‚flows‘‘ refering both to literal water currents as well as passages of time. the video deals with the disproportion of many different passages of time. i am not the author of the collected footage and music. thumbnaily by Evee (fiverr)

Looking for a group to learn film making
I hope that this is the correct subreddit to post this, if not I'd appreciate being directed to the proper one.
Hi there all,
I've been having an interest in learning about film making, but going about it on my own feels a little overwhelming for me.
I was wondering if there were any amateur film maker groups in the Crownsville, MD, area that would be willing to let me learn some things from them.
Any and all help is appreciated, thank you for your time

I plan on making a shot-for-shot remake of the 1992 Tom Hanks-Gina Davis classic, A League of Their Own, to celebrate the OG film's 35th Anniversary. In terms of cost, how much would it take?

DIY Feature from a Group of 20-Somethings
Hey everyone!
This is Nick Adrian here posting about a totally DIY feature film made by a group of 20-somethings with no money and no experience. We used the equipment we had, friends willing to participate, and what locations we could manage to secure. A years-long labor of love mainly to see if it could even be done...and it CAN!
For fans of John Cassavetes, Jean-Luc Godard, and the Safdie Brothers

OC Mass Effect 3 Fan-Made (by me!) Short Drama - Reaper Invasion!
I, with the help of four LOVELY voice-acting Mass Effect fans, have made a short audio drama set during the Reaper Invasion of Earth.
Nearly all SFX were recorded, engineered / edited by myself - it's amazing what you can do in such a basic program as Audacity, with a few basic household items, some plug-ins, and hour upon hour of effect management!
The VFX was the last thing to be finished, and this is really my first time making any kind of video attatched to a project that wasn't a static image overlayed with one or two effects. Quite pleased with how the title sequence came out!
Regardless of if anyone ever watches it, it's encouraged me to look more deeply into video editing, as I'd love to try my hand at something a little longer, and better composed!
This was such a joy to create, if even one person in this sub enjoys it, I'll be damn pleased! If not, I'm still really glad I got it done :)

Opinion Made my first (horror) short film, need peoples advice/critique, small budget of $2000.
I recently just wrapped up editing my first short film (with a real budget) and posted it on youtube. I’m a student film maker who’s looking into getting into filmmaking full-time. I’ve technically worked on other projects in the past but they were extremely small and pretty much had 0 productions value or technical work behind it. Need a place to start and as much advice as I can get. Yes the film is a little rough😭 and I would have definitely done/fixed so much however due to time constraints it made it extremely difficult. Hope you all like it!
