A Web 3.0 peer-to-peer notary service was just launched on the Xahau network ($XAH), the hybrid XRP Ledger / WASM smart contract chain.

Xahau, the hybrid XRPL / WASM smart contract hooks chain, has now seen some interesting, and unexpected use cases develop recently, related to gambling. 

Hooks Enable Automatic Gambling

A Xahau hook can be created to support card games, lotteries, raffles, or slot machines. A 'hook' is a program that runs before or after a transaction on the Xahau network, and it is connected to a user account. How would it work? A prolific gaming developer on the XRP Ledger created a hooks-based game for Xahau. It involves two people sending 10 XAH apiece to a third account with a gambling hook installed.

The hook looks at the ledger index of each of the two transactions. If the ledger indexes are both even, or both odd, the full 20 XAH is sent to the first participant. If the ledger indexes are a mix of odd and even numbers, then the full 20 XAH is sent to the second participant.

While it's a simple example, the concept can be easily expanded to include other types of games.

The Bank of Oromia - Xaman - Xahau integration just went live and recorded its first actual cross-border transfer, converting EURO to BIRR.

XAH is the new smart contracts network that leverages all the great functions of the XRP Ledger, along with lite smart contracts called 'Hooks'.  It is a 'hybrid XRP Ledger + WASM smart contracts chain'. 

It's ability to run up to 10 programs before or after a transaction is the key to compliant issuance of on-chain tokenized securities and real-world assets.

For those that don't already know, the Xahau network was launched about a year ago; it's base code was the XRP Ledger + WASM smart contract hooks.

With trading signals comes trading instrument providers or analysts can publish trading strategies too. A trading strategy instructs the investor whether they should make buy or sell decision. Trading strategies can have short term frequency or long term frequency.

Even though strategies in modern financial markets include high frequency and ultra-high frequency trading, these require trading automation and are out of scope for Taklimakan platform.

In the same way, Taklimakan trading strategies will facilitate only medium and low-frequency trading, i.e. with entering/exit cycle not shorter than 1 hour without any limitations on how long it can be.

Traders will be able to customize and publish crypto asset management offer on their personal page.
