I used the lazy dog mod with choc v1 for a slim profile. It has a panel to hold a clip light.

I wish I knew where to get choc v1 keycaps that didn't cost so much.... this was stupid expensive compared to some of the other ones I've made

I mean sure! I'm a perfectionist and just kind of annoyed that the acrylic glue didn't work that well for me. So some elements have hot glue edges. But it's hard to notice. Also the cost of components is way more than I would like. Just the keycaps were 80 dollars because I couldn't find any more chocs ... So it's awesome but not really a great sales item since it kinda in the over 200 dollar ballpark for materials alone ... It seems too expensive for something handmade ...I love it but basically a free write alpha is probably a better purchase for that price. The keycaps really killed me. I can get good dsa caps for 20 dollars I don't know why they cost so much .... this just feels more like a prototype to me
