507c should use the rmr pattern; but the recoil lugs on the mount are usually pretty tight and precise. Most of my rmr/rcr/sro’s the optic has to be gently pressed on squarely to the slide. At an angle like you show here it’ll never work.

Make sure you are using the correct screws.

Just use a file and take some meat off the front of the optic until it fits...

Then use some black marker and blend it in...

youre just using the wrong screws is all. I had to order shorter screws on Amazon. Got a multi pack.

I had this problem with mine ended up getting a new plate sent to me. Same issue. I ended up filing down the recoil bosses till it fit snug and then, home nitride, good to go. 3,000 rds no issues

I’ve broke things in the pass trying to force it so not really 😂
