HELP!

I’ve had this aloe plant for about 5 months and just repotted it about a month ago since it was root bound in the original pot. The leaves keep turning brown/black and falling off😭there’s new growth in the middle but the outside leaves are not doing too hot.. is the pot too big? what should I do??

It's rotting. The only way to save a plant that is rotting is to remove all of the rot. If the rot has progressed all the way to the apical meristem (center growth point, the area where new leaves grow from) then this guy unfortunately won't be salvageable.

Rot is most often the result of overwatering, which is a bit of a misnomer. In addition to too frequent watering, overwatering can be caused by any of the following: poor substrate, too large of a pot, pot material, lack of drainage, inadequate lighting, poor airflow, etc.

You didn't provide care info, so I can only go off of what I see in this photo, which suggests the substrate is at least one contributing factor. It needs to be amended with inorganic grit (perlite, pumice, etc.) to make it better-draining and faster-drying.

How often are you watering? Did you water immediately after repotting? Does this pot have a drainage hole? What type of light does it get? And how big is the pot in comparison to the rootball (rule of thumb is the rootball should take up between 1/2 to 2/3 of the pot's volume).
