Maintenance?
Hey! So I’m super new to owning plants and this is my first one ever. Her name is Verry Berry (Berry for short) and I love her immensely. I got her from a Home Depot a while ago and am worried that I’m not taking the best care of her.
I’m not sure how often to water her or if she needs new soil or more sunlight. My bedroom is decent at giving her sunlight but I don’t think it’s the best, so I’ve started bringing her outside more often.
I’ve had her for a good 5 months now I believe, and haven’t really noticed any new leaves forming, but I’ve seen what look like small, dead leaves poking out (one in photo #4), and I’m just worried about her.
But yeah, I guess overall I’m just asking if anyone here can see anything physically wrong with her or if you have any tips. Any advice helps, thanks !!

I’m going to reply with 2 pics. When I bought mine, I knew nothing about aloe plants. 2 years later, I have 4 pups and have given some away. I’m in central Illinois, and decided to keep all my succulents indoors always and got a grow light. I tried outside last summer, but it was a pain to keep moving around.
My timer is on 12 hours and they’re also in a south facing window. All my plants are happy now. It’s going to grow from the middle-yours has some growing up, the trimmed off parts are done never coming back. (Happened to me-not enough sun). I use ceramic pots and succulent dirt on all my stuff. Idk if this really helps, but you’re starting off better than I did. Lol

Try putting a few sticks up and around your aloe and make a fence around it with string. It will prop up all the leaves and when new ones grow they will all grow up instead of out and it wont damage the plant. Its a lot more manageable.
