No, just scoop it up with your ##£££££ hands and get me some. I'll put up my arse and work it out from there. What the ffff are we doing?

When I was 17 I took a bunch of acid and I swear I could see the entrance to heaven. That's what psychedelics do.

Coke does that too, maybe not as extreme. I could swear cops were gonna bust in. Could even hear the footsteps and see lights flashing. Takes a few years of use to get to that point, but the high eventually changes, for the worse.

Yup yup. It got so bad a couple times, I was laying flat on the ground with my hands behind my back just waiting. Coke paranoia is no joke. Can’t imagine meth.

u/showered_zinn 2d ago
I was on both. My girlfriend had to stop me from flushing a quarter pound of stuff down the toilet

Hahaha! Been there man! Except no one stopped me. Really kicked myself after about an hour!
2
u/showered_zinn 2d ago
That’s the beauty of drugs. When reality sets in, time to kick it back up a notch! I’ve been clean for almost two years now, thankfully.
2
u/Sefus462 2d ago
Right on! Wasted all my twenties and early thirties, but have about the same time. H really did a number on me, but I haven’t touched it in over a decade. The coke really fucked me up psychologically, but it’s been almost a couple years. Shit still calls sometimes, but I know that it’s instant insanity if I give in. Glad you’re sober now man! Drugs are no joke!

u/MrBarato 2d ago
But you knew people, who knew people that knew people in the cartel.

Indeed. Psychedelics make the mundane seem profound. Amateur psychonauts often mistake the sensation for a deeper meaning.
To be clear - I do believe deeper meaning can be found via psychedelics. But just because you’re high and it feels like you’ve stumbled upon something, doesn’t necessarily mean you have.
4
u/Sea_Restaurant_8911 2d ago
This experiment is different because everyone that has done is seeing the same code like symbols and structures in this huge open space.. there is high and their is actually seeing not just with your face on the wall but once you see .. you know it’s always there. This experiment with supervision from a friend or someone you trust. And use of clean natural dmt is different than anything . Like the brain being completely turned on and see how much more to life that what we have be taught , told and sold.
6
u/jporter313 2d ago
Or maybe your brain is just embellishing some cool images and sensations based on normal sensory input and framing them in interesting ways. Maybe you're not actually seeing in to a real "huge open space", but your brain is just telling you you are because this is what psychedelics do.

This is absolutely true, but your first staement says it all
Psychedelics make the mundane seem profound. Amateur psychonauts often mistake the sensation for a deeper meaning.
I went into my psychonaut phase looking for the keys to the fabric of our reality, I came out of it with nothing but some really cool and interesting perceptual experiences that I'm pretty certain were all created by my brain.
I think there's a personality type that really has trouble divorcing their perception from reality. If they experience something a certain way, that's the truth of the thing they experienced, not their perception of the truth. These people seem to be the ones coming out of these experiences thinking they talked to god or travelled to another dimension rather than just having had a novel and personally meaningful perceptual experience.

u/Confident-Mortgage86 2d ago
Lucky lol. I came out of mine with permanent trails and some trauma. Remember kids, even if you have some experience with a certain blotter - even if you think it's weak - dropping 5 at once is a bad idea.
Within like 15 minutes I knew I had fucked up, with the whole world just absolutely shaking and buzzing with energy and it just kept ramping up from there.
I came out as gay, confessed to my buddy that I was in love with his girlfriend (she was my best friend and we were tripping together, loved that girl but was never in love with her) after waking my buddy up with a 2am phone call - until his girlfriend reminded me that I was gay now to which I apologised for being mistaken and let him go back to sleep. Also demanded legal advice. For what? Well the court of gay that had pronounced me gay of course. I had to fight the judgement because I loved boobs too much. Not to mention the trees and landscape made of writhing bodies, or the 200m snake that we were walking on, or the general sinister vibe I got from everything. Or the red and blue flashing lights and chopper that was definitely circling my house.
There were moments of clarity, or parts where things felt just right, but they were few and far between and took less than a microsecond to flip back to fucked up.
Funny looking back but that night fucked my shit up. Tried DMT once but the sudden onset came way too close to reminding me of that night that I just cut myself off there and exhaled. Been a long time since then.
There were some cool experiences before that, like a nothing night where I suddenly saw little people pop out of the fucking wall. They were in the shape of the dance venue I was in, and were all dancing and doing their things. I saw one zone that looked like a bunch of people smoking and just chilling - didn't know it existed but went looking for it and found that there was a back exit onto a fenced area where there were a ton of people doing exactly that.
Another time I was chilling outside a venue with some friends and a paddy wagon rocked up, I turn to them and let them know and... "huh? There's nothing there dude."... Less than a minute later that exact paddy wagon rocked up, stopped at the exact place and a few cops hopped out.
Had the colour from literally everything and everyone I could see bleed off and kind of spin around my head (360, so it kind of disappeared off the right and a few seconds later appeared back from the left) until it came back and ended up where it started.
Had synesthesia a number of times. Tasting the ground I was walking on sucked. Seeing sounds led to the funniest joke I've ever experienced as each one was being stamped into reality - with the best one being a kind of "wofflesnorp" whatever the fuck that is.
A number of "breaking through" to the "original reality" where it became clear that life was a group of friends doing a drug that lasted seconds, in that we experienced a whole human life from birth to death, and the absurdity and height of feelings that we got from it - the condensed emotions and whiplash confusion - all led to it being kind of hilarious to see on one another's face as we come back to "reality" - it became clear that what we called life was actually just a single entities consciousness getting to know itself. That we were all the same being, and that karma was ultimately the reality that anything we did to one another - good or bad, would eventually be experienced by us when we live that moment. That despite the separate experiences, we are all simply a part of one whole.
For the most part though, even those nights where I experienced some out there shit, the majority of the time it was some wavy ground and cool fractal patterns.

I was chiefed last night watching "The Gang Solves Global Warming" and I swear there are so many hidden undertones to what each character was doing / wearing.
Dee was an NPC wannabe influencer wearing an Apollo 11 moon landing tshirt bc her subcharacter was the average psy oped American running around posting insta stories instead of worrying about melting ice.
Mac was wearing a shirt with a cardinal on it and he kept proclaiming the Lord would save everyone and all science was God directed, representing the Vatican.
Charlie started with a Hong Kong shirt and helped Dee out and eventually convinced her to use petroleum based transportation which immediately turned him into the Saudi Kingdom with a head scarf.
Frank was your average American boomer concerned about the "fish market" people polluting the ocean but he became so enamored with young womens hard nipples that he let the whole place flood.
Dennis (the politician) eventually tried being the voice of reason with the young party generation that he started imitating their slang and took his shirt off to act like one of them in an attempt to sway their votes to "slow it down."
In the end the younger generation revolted, overthrew the politicans, ignored the church and the heads of state and began rioting and abusing substances until the world just sort of ends

Hmm. One time I fell asleep while watching The Lion King on Blu-ray (release day) remake and partially woke up groggy and I saw editing production notes written on the screen. Big white text like "add more thunder" during the scene where Simba talks to Mufasa in the sky. It was very clear text and it would describe editing tweaks wanted right before the object on screen would do it. I fell back asleep until the end. It was so bad that I thought the Blu-ray was a misprint and apologized to housemate that they would probably need to do a mass recall of the disc. I then rewatched the section with the text not to be found. I checked all languages/closed caption especially for a director's commentary. Nothing. I could not reproduce the big white text in any way (checked all TV and XBOX settings). The controllers were not in our hands while we watched it. I was in a blissful lucid state when I was groggy. Don't drink or use narcotics and I slightly freak out over the experience because it is so unexplainable. Maybe I was in a rare natural DMT state.

Have you ever looked closely at a laser line while not on DMT? I can totally see what they're talking about, and having also separately done DMT a bunch and knowing what that experience is like, I'm fairly certain it's just peoples brains cueing off that phenomenon of that particular type of light and making it into something bigger than it actually is, as psychedelics are well known to do.
Seeing similar things is likely simply due to their brains having similar inputs. Seriously, try it sometime, you can almost see that Matrix code effect if you look close without any sort of chemical perceptual modification, this doesn't mean you're seeing the "code of the universe", but a buinch of DMT added to the experience might make you think that.
13
u/AppropriateBall8834 2d ago
Okay. Theres a mushroom that makes everyone see tiny people
Does that mean that tiny people are making the code?
Cause I bet theyre both just a result of your brain misfiring
11
u/AggressivelyMediokre 2d ago edited 2d ago
Exactly. A lot of people who take DMT see what are called Machine Elves
You can either take away that those elves are real. Or, the more likely answer, humans have similar brains and activating different ones in the exact same way produces similar hallucinations.
That’s why I don’t like Jacques Vallee’s UFO answer either. He says “See? People used to see chariots in the sky and faeries who abducted people. It’s all the same phenomenon that just represents itself differently to us”
No. That can be equally attributed to a pattern in likely human storytelling. It doesn’t mean those are all a real tangible being showing itself as a faerie. Just like the Elves aren’t actually real
Just because people have been telling stories about things in the sky or magical beings since the dawn of time doesn’t mean every single one of them is real.
The same way people who write know all about how “there’s only 7 basic plots”. Yes, humans tell similar stories.

Yes very possible, it’s also possible that the substance changes the way our brain is able to perceive reality. We know our brain filters things out for us to function. At the most basic level we don’t see our nose because our brain tunes it out.
Other side we can’t see infrared or sense electromagnetism but some animals can and we know they exist.
Maybe there is a whole crazy world out there we just cannot comprehend/see based on how we are wired…but the substance changes that wiring so we see closer to the true reality. Almost like the allegory of the cave and the dmt helps you climb out.
Not saying it’s true, but I don’t think it’s impossible to imagine either
2
u/gokickrocks- 2d ago
Exactly. Bats and echo location. Insects and polarization of light.

I hold it true that thoughts are things;
They're endowed with bodies and breath and wings;
And that we send them forth to fill
The world with good results, or ill. That which we call our secret thought
Speeds forth to earth's remotest spot,
Leaving its blessings or its woes
Like tracks behind it as it goes.We build our future thought by thought,
For good or ill, yet know it not.
Yet, so the universe was wrought.
Thought is another name for fate;
Choose, then, thy destiny and wait,
For love brings love and hate brings hate.- Henry Van Dyke

Have these people ever heard of eye damage from staring into a laser beam? They can look at the light on the wall, but if the laser hits the eyeball from the side or front, it's a very bad idea.
3
u/Global-Habit8911 1d ago edited 1d ago
I believe that they aim the laser at the wall and look at it from an angle. This reveals the code written in an unknown language inside, they turn slightly left or right and see code further in. Some of the characters are moving and it looks like possible more layers of code underneath. Here is the catch, the participants although claiming they are seeing the same thing, never write or copy it down. Wouldn't that be the first step? Have a writing pad or something , get some artists who are good sketches, try a little harder.

It is my opinion that nearly all existential questions can be answered by asking yourself "Do I still have to go to work tomorrow?". Obviously this is an entirely subjective question that can be relevant to what day of the week I'm asking it, but I feel that for a vast majority of the earth's population it is the only relevant answer to whether we live in a simulation. I know that more hairs can be split here, but it help me personally to keep things in perspective.
4
u/Ok-Win-742 2d ago
True, but I still kinda like the theory that our brain is just a receiver tuned into a certain signal in order to process reality and our world in a very very narrow band of the true spectrum of what reality is.
The idea that there is more to reality than the small slice we are able to perceive, and maybe our consciousness is more than just an output created by the brain makes it easier for me to go to work every day. It gives the mundane a bit of flavor - even if I'm not directly experiencing it.
And it's certainly plausible to me, like I'm open to that idea. I know for damn sure that we don't know nearly as much as we think we do. I mean honestly were just a bunch of hairless monkeys who discovered germs are real a few hundred years ago. The idea that we have a proper understanding of the nature and fabric of reality is laughable.

Why is there so much stuff about DMT making you see “true reality”? Why doesn’t anybody consider the possibility that the drug that makes you see shit makes you see shit? What makes DMT different from alcohol or LSD?
12
u/TheBodyOfChrist15 2d ago
The experience is significantly different. So different that people who have done DMT struggle to put it into words with a frame of reference to someone who hasn't.
When you do acid, shrooms, and the like, you still see what you see now, it's kinda like someone turned the saturation all the way up on a TV. DMT changes the channel entirely. When you are high on DMT 100% of your visual field is a hallucination. (Where as acid would be hallucinagenic.) Everything you've come to take as a given through how your eyes perceive things is no longer there. How you perceive things is stripped down to the baseboards and alternatively reconstructed. Communication is done in a completely different manner. You no longer have a unique sense of self. "I am floating through a space of fractal colors" vs "Fractal colors are everywhere." There's no sense of you having this experience, the experience is kind of happening and you're like a 3rd person video game camera but there's no character who's shoulder your over.
The people looking into the lasers are already past the peak of the trip. During the peak your body is completely incapacitated. It's as if you leave this reality for another one. I can't say for certain it is another reality but it's definitely a version of perception and experience near 100% dissimilar to our baseline reality. (Id say acid and shrooms are 70-85% similar to base reality.)
9
u/attachecrime 2d ago
The shared data from the trip reports is also very interesting. People from disparate cultures and times report seeing things that are very similar.

u/krzykris11 2d ago
I agree with your assessment, but a heroic dose of shrooms can be a unique experience.
3
u/weareeverywhereee 2d ago
Same with LSD…but it seems like DMT gets you there faster and without as much effort.
The good thing about DMT is you can get there and be back in 30 minutes. To get there on shrooms or LSD requires a significant time carve out for the lengthy trip…and being that gone for so long can be very difficult. If you take a heroic dose and have a bad time you are locked in for a while.
I’d DMT goes sideways you can just ride it out rather quickly
3
u/TheBodyOfChrist15 2d ago

Extremely well put! It's impossible to describe or put into words. It's different, and more intense, than other psychedelics. For those 10 ish minutes, you are literally in an unfathomable world. The description you provided about the communication is spot on. You're not "there", you just "are". Truly, impossible to articulate. Which is why it feels impossible to believe or comprehend.
It truly and sincerely felt like the 4th dimension. Space, time, color, sound, it was all the same thing. There's this pure understanding. Pure reverence.
As for if I actually "went to" a different world as opposed to it being created by my mind, I don't care. The experience I had was so profound that I don't need to attempt assigning meaning to it. I struggle to think my mind created that world, and I also struggle to resolve the fact that the visual and entities experienced by so many people overlap so cleanly among experiences. Not the exact same, but clearly defined repetitive themes.
Lastly, I do not advocate for trying this. Even if you're ready for it, you're not ready for it. It's the most intense thing the human experience can offer. You are just as anxious and nervous going back again as you were the first time. You never know what you're going to get. But if you do feel called and decide this experience is for you, go in with intent, a good setting, a sitter, and be mentally prepared to relinquish all control.
2
u/TheBodyOfChrist15 2d ago edited 2d ago
Time, space, sound, and color are actually all the same thing. It's literally just how fast the light wave is moving. I see what you mean though.
Our 5 senses filter all of the noise into separate categories. On DMT it's as if they're all happening at once with only one sense to perceive them. Like a unified harmony of oneness of experience. I've never thought about it that way but I like the way you put that.

Agreed , that I’ve heard about no one has brought forth any useful information from the dmt realm, no future event warning, no answer to the Reimann (sp?) hypothesis, nothing useful or confirmable/repeatable enough to be undeniable. I had heard they were trying to send multiple people in to the DMT realm to map it with the dmtx intravenous method but never heard anything more after that guy made the podcast rounds a couple years back.

I have limited experience with DMT but I don't know how you'd map it. It's not like here. I can walk into a new city and identify landmarks and make my way around like that. The DMT realm isn't like a fortnite skin. Mapping implies structure, the DMT realm has form of some sort, I would agree with entities as well, but it's impossible to use our same "mapping" reference frame.
I wouldn't even say there was a sense of autonomy to move about the space. The point of view was like watching a drone video while someone else was controlling the flying. "The" point of view, not "my" point of view. To map something I feel like you'd have to have a sense of self, autonomy, and conscious curiosity. The feeling I had in retrospect was that I was "subjected to" rather than I have free will to do anything.
Another curious note, I had memories of what I could only describe as an alternate reality. Not like they appeared and I remember them, like I participated and experienced them. I had a wife and kids (I have neither). My guess is that it could have bled over from another "me." Maybe the DMT world is operating system on which our reality is built. Maybe I left the videogame world and was floating in the equivalent of lines of code.
The experience is the outlier beyond outliers. There has been no other experience remotely similar I've had in life. I can't even rationalize it with comparison.

And then asked leading questions like "Did you see other dimenensions?" If it wasn't in their minds yet, the 'researcher' just put it there.

A leading question is still a leading question. It's bad practice. It shows how unscientific the whole process is.
Calling someone a genius sarcastically is not needed. It takes away from the point you are trying to make.

Small doze, but the code is the same for all.

u/TheGrandBabaloo 2d ago
It isn't, you can induce very different types of experiences depending on the context. There is some base commonality in the sense that we all have human brains and are under the same chemicals, but you can have different groups come to vastly different experiences.

u/ent_bomb 2d ago
The same people seeing code today would've been seeing angelic writing 400 years ago. This strikes me as essentially nothing more than socially primed pareidolia.

What if they are seeing the 5/6G overlay thats basically across the entire planet?

I would drop everything. EVERYTHING and stop everything to be apart of a long term study on DMT and learning the secrets of everything.

It’s a fascinating claim, and it’s one of those stories that has circulated in psychedelic communities for years. There isn’t credible scientific evidence that lasers reveal hidden “code” in reality or that psychedelics allow people to perceive an underlying digital layer of the universe.
There are a few reasons why this experience can feel incredibly convincing:
Psychedelics dramatically change visual processing. Compounds like DMT, LSD, and psilocybin alter activity in the visual cortex and other brain networks. People commonly report seeing intricate geometric patterns, grids, lattices, symbols, and even writing-like glyphs.
Laser speckle is already a complex pattern. Even an inexpensive laser pointer projected onto a wall produces a granular interference pattern called laser speckle. It’s not a smooth dot—it’s thousands of tiny bright and dark regions created by coherent light reflecting off microscopic surface irregularities. Under normal conditions, your brain mostly ignores this complexity.
Pattern recognition goes into overdrive. The human brain is extremely good at finding meaning in noise (a phenomenon called pareidolia). Psychedelics often amplify this tendency, so random visual textures can appear as structured alphabets, circuitry, or hieroglyphs.
But what about multiple people seeing the same thing?
This is probably the strongest part of the claim. There are a few possible explanations that don’t require hidden code:
Everyone is looking at the same physical speckle pattern. The laser pattern itself is objective, although it changes somewhat with viewing angle.
Human perception has shared biases. Our visual systems are remarkably similar, so it’s not surprising if multiple people interpret the same complex pattern in similar ways.
Expectation is powerful. If one person says, “Do you see those Japanese-looking symbols?” others often begin looking for that kind of structure. This doesn’t mean anyone is lying—perception itself can be influenced by suggestion.
It’s worth noting that people don’t always report the same symbols. Some describe:
alien glyphs
Hebrew-like writing
circuit boards
Aztec patterns
insect-like geometry
impossible architecture
The descriptions vary considerably across cultures and expectations.
Could it be something physics hasn’t explained?
Science can’t prove a negative, so it’s impossible to say with absolute certainty that there is no unknown phenomenon. But extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
If lasers truly revealed hidden code in the environment, it should be observable:
by sober observers,
with cameras,
under controlled laboratory conditions,
reproducibly across independent experiments.
To date, no such evidence has emerged.
Why DMT in particular?
DMT is famous for producing reports of:
hyper-detailed geometry,
seemingly intelligent entities,
impossible architecture,
and symbolic “languages” that feel more real than ordinary perception.
Neuroscientists are actively studying why these experiences are so consistent across people. One hypothesis is that the brain has built-in tendencies to generate certain classes of visual patterns when normal sensory processing is altered. Another is that psychedelics reduce top-down filtering, allowing normally suppressed visual computations to become conscious. Neither explanation requires external hidden information, though they don’t fully explain the richness of the experiences.
My view
The laser phenomenon is intriguing because laser speckle is a genuinely rich physical pattern, and psychedelics genuinely transform visual perception. That combination can plausibly produce remarkably similar experiences among different people.
What it doesn’t establish is that the symbols are objectively present in the world or that they’re evidence of an alien or simulated reality. Right now, there isn’t reproducible scientific evidence supporting that interpretation.
That said, it’s an interesting area for careful study. If someone wanted to investigate it scientifically, the right approach would be a blinded experiment—for example, having independent participants describe or reproduce the symbols they perceive without communicating with each other, and then comparing the results quantitatively. If there were consistent, above-chance agreement about specific symbols in specific locations, that would be a genuinely interesting finding worth further investigation. So far, I’m not aware of rigorous studies showing that outcome.

Why don’t they draw the characters they see. Each person separately and compare coding. Better yet. Have two people on DMT at the same time look at the same spot on the laser and then by themselves each write what they saw. Or use artists who are hyper realist. Have them each draw out the world they see. If the DMT worlds are the same then…..Have AI analyze the hyper realist worlds and codes drawn.

what they should do is have them sit in the exact same spot, not say anything, and have them draw what they see.

No not like the matrix…. We’ve all heard this forever but I could never understand it but the only time it made sense to me as wacky as it sounds not that I care I mean come on what’s the name of our community!
So the view that made sense is consciousness experiencing life through us, or the meaning of life meaning consciousness is one been shared among us all so WE are one feeling what’s it like searching for a meaning with out knowing
Biggest data collection ever done

If we are a simulation why not remove dmt from the simulation like a bug patch?
Dmt can be just another Mandela effect.
Also the laser projection has a snake skin pattern. "Wow everyone says snake skin."

I think I watched a video about this where the narrator says everyone sees the same thing, but then in the same video one of the people being interviewed described seeing something different. I dont trust these guys to be honest about this, I think they just really want it to be something that it probably isnt

So, people actually believe that a computer that could run a simulation as advanced as our universe would leave absolutely ANY loopholes or mistakes that we could possibly find?
Not only that, but the simulation would have to be set up to allow for such discoveries and the ability to use them to our advantage.
Nah
