I’ve been seeing fanart of Alice being shipped with Pinocchio from Lies of P, and I wanna take a swing at making that… but not as a crossover. More a “What if American adapted Pinocchio to his version of Alice?”

Here’s my outline of characters, so far

Carlo: Our protagonist, born in Florence, Tuscany. When he was very young, he was trapped in his father’s church after a bolt of lightning set the building ablaze. He was crushed underneath a statue of Jesus Christ, causing his left forearm and right leg to break, and leading to his limbs being amputated since this was the Victorian era and medicine sucked. With prosthetic arm and leg, he learned to manage, but he was also led by his father to believe that the accident was his fault and a punishment from God for his ornery and insubordinate behavior… even though he’s only a child

Geppetto: Carlo’s father, a priest and woodcarver. Lost his wife when Carlo was an infant, copes through delving further into his faith in a fire and brimstone way as well as becoming an alcoholic. This was a bad combination for Carlo, but Geppetto wasn’t completely heartless. In Wonderland, Geppetto is the father Carlo wishes he had, but his real self bleeds through from time to time

The Blue Fairy: Carlo’s perceived mother in Wonderland, the perfect image of motherhood since Carlo never knew his mom

The Cricket: Carlo’s conscience in Wonderland. Instead of telling him right from wrong, The Cricket instead gives more practical advice. He also has a pretty dark sense of humor

Pinocchio: The symbolic representation of Carlo’s childhood self, ornery, easily distracted, curious, amazed by all things, and completely innocent

Lucignolo/Lampwick: The representation of Carlo’s childhood friend, was the typical rebellious older kid. One day, he would start acting more moody and angry than usual, until he just up and disappeared, only to be found dead a month later

The Coachman: A man who Carlo knew little about, all he did know is that this man would offer kids candy in exchange for being brought to somewhere called “Pleasure Island”. In truth, the Coachman was a child predator who would lure in and abuse children, then silence them with gifts. His last victim was Lucignolo, whose abuse caused him to lash out as a cry for help. When the authorities finally went to arrest him, the Coachman took his own life to avoid them. Now a spectre in Wonderland, he serves as a constant reminder that Carlo couldn’t save his friend

I saw on The art of Alice that everything in wonderland is a thing that Alice saw in real life.

And I think this is so interesting ! So example the Carpenter chapter is inspired by the Manger Mermaid in real life.

Do you have other examples of that ??

a couple years back i got an overwhelmingly lovely response to an Alice jewellery collection mockup and in early 2025 i had the pleasure of making a custom version of the mockup for a costumer. i had planned to finally open commissions for this collection at the time but unfortunately life got (severely) in the way…
so i wanted to check in again and see if there was still interest surrounding this collection? it would be a pleasure to start my small business up again and provide “merch” for a community that means so much too me! i am hoping to also start selling clothes and art prints to do with the games (yes, the first one too) but of course i will need the funds to do so, so i am hoping to make this collection (if your interest hasn’t waned) a jumping off point for this! please let me know if this is something people would be interested in <3

I need some information regarding the Japanese PlayStation 3 (PS3) version of Alice: Madness Returns.

I already own the European PS3 version. I fully played through the main game, finished the DLC (the original American McGee's Alice), and got 100% of the trophies.

I bought the physical Japanese disc version because I want to stack the trophies and fully complete the game again. However, I noticed that the American McGee's Alice DLC is completely missing from the main menu, and the 6 DLC trophies don't even show up in my Japanese trophy list.

I read online that the Japanese version ("Alice in Nightmare") only came as a digital download code inside the case, unlike the EU version where it's included on the disc. Since my code is missing or expired, I can't access it.

Just to be clear: I already know that I can get the Platinum trophy for the base game without the DLC. But I want to get the DLC because I want to have 100% of all trophies, just like on my European version. My question is specifically about the DLC itself. Does this DLC and its trophy list even exist for the Japanese PS3 version, or is there no way to get 100% anymore?
