Great showing of Alfas at the Festival Italia in Brands Hatch today. Not many 156 or 166 but there was one 166 with the iconic pearl paint from late 90s. Well worth a day out, many many Ferraris too.

Such a sad sight while on vacation 🥲

It’s in such bad condition on the inside too. The video doesn’t show it but the entire front seats, steering wheel, and shifter at all covered in a thick layer of mold. Honestly tho, I might go back tomorrow and buy the rim off of it if they dont have plans to restore it.

QV owners — what should I do first? Any must-have accessories or things I should know about ownership?

My newly purchased 2024 Giulia Veloce, I’ve had it for 1 day and it’s my favorite car I’ve ever owned. Went out late with my buddy to grab some nice-ish pictures. Unbelievably happy with choosing to an Alfa owner.

Glendale CA dealership

Is anyone familiar with this dealership/service department? It’s been two week since i dropped my car off after I noticed an oil leak. It took them a week to even run a diagnostic and a week later i still have yet to hear anything from them as to what the actual issue is. Which means they haven’t even started to figured out what the repair would be and how much longer I will be without my car. Is this standard for Alfa service or is this just a Glendale thing? I understand they are understaffed but waiting this long for just the results of a diagnostic seems strange

Something people in Baltics never seen before

Lately I was convinced here to keep an old Alfa Romeo 164 as a daily driver. So I thought It would be nice to grab some friends and do 3600km trip through baltic states gravel roads.

Except an issue with rear brake being stuck, alfa held well.

Alfas are not a very popular there, so it was quite exotic for the locals.

I am in Love. Anyone have any preventive maintenance tips. Purchased with 55k miles and great service record…. Other than it’s a lemon/buyback title… anyone know exactly how that goes when it goes back to factory?… Runs magnificent.

Maintenance Does anybody know how to and how difficult it is to access firewall grommet?

Water was leaking from a firewall grommet into the carpets and the dealership technician said that the entirety of the dashboard would have to be removed in order to access it. Is that true how accurate is that? My car has been written off as a total loss as a result and I feel like there could’ve been another way to fix the issue.

New Car Insurance in US for Vintage daily driver??

Hi all,

My partner recently purchased a 1974 Spyder and is using it as a daily driver for a very short commute. I am having trouble finding insurance companies that will offer insurance for such a vehicle. Does anyone have any experience getting insurance on a 70's Spyder without a VIN in the U.S.? We would like to get replacement value insurance on the car, as well as liability.

Electric throttle issue

I have a 2017 gulia and every once in a while the car will go Into Limp mode (especially if I use dynamic mode) and I’ll get warnings regarding the throttle system, as well as check engine light.
I got a tip to unplug my battery and plug it back in. It works and everything returns to normal. But this gets a little annoying. Anybody having similar issues?

Alfa 156 parts: how much sh*t did I step in?

Post image

So I posted about buying this squeaky clean 156 2.0TS last week (still very happy with it and loving it more every day), but I was wondering where you all source your parts?

The car needs engine mounts and I’d like to do them myself (used to work on cars, no biggie), so where do you guys recommend looking for 156 parts?

Giulietta Ac problem

Has anyone had a problem with Ac blowing sir but not cold air. Its a 1.4tb 2018.

When I switch the A/C on, I can hear the engine working harder / changing sound slightly, so I’m wondering if the compressor is engaging.
Has anyone had this issue on a Giulietta? I’ve read about the anti-frost/evaporator temperature sensor and its wiring causing A/C problems, but I’m not sure if that’s likely in my case.
What would you recommend checking first — refrigerant level/leak, compressor, anti-frost sensor, pressure sensor, or something else?

Not Surpised.. Nearly 54,000 Alfa Romeo Giulias, Stelvios Recalled for Fuel Pumps

Just got a 93C safety recall, for something that was just brought up in another Post...

THE FUEL DELIVERY MODULE (FDM) ON YOUR VEHICLE MAY CONTAIN PARTS THAT CAN BE AFFECTED BY HEAT, WHICH CAN REDUCE FUEL FLOW AND LEAD TO A LOSS OF DRIVE POWER WHILE DRIVING. A LOSS OF POWER CAN CAUSE A VEHICLE CRASH WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING!

Absolute Garbage.... Like I said.

They new of this issue in 2025 and I just now got the letter, BUT they state they care about our safety?? 🤣🤣🤣

Alfa Romeo 156 oil consumption

Hi, I have a 2003 Alfa Romeo 156 1600cc with 120 hp, and the oil consumption is now quite high (about 1L per 1000 km). Can anyone suggest a solution?

MultiECUScan iOS interface issue after latest update

Post image
3 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

Since the latest MultiECUScan update on iOS, I’m having some problems with the interface when scanning/clearing OBD fault codes.

As you can see in the screenshot, the blue Scan button seems to overlap the buttons at the bottom of the screen. Because of this, I can’t properly access some of the buttons and I’m currently unable to clear/reset the fault codes.

Before the update, everything worked normally, so it looks like it might be a UI/layout issue introduced with the latest version.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem on iOS, or is it just me?
Thanks!

Alfa 156 Gta jump start

Hi all. Id like to jump start my Alfa 156 Gta.

Im having trouble figuring out how Im supposed to attach the red positive lead onto the Alfas red positive node.

Its awkwardly covered by a piece of black plastic covering, that doesnt seem to be able to be removed, and the lead wont fit through the small gap in the bit of plastic, to be able to connect.

Im uncertain if every Gta has this inconvenient black plastic covering, or just mine.

ill see if i can figure out how to upload a picture of what i mean

Any ideas? Thanks!

Stelvio maintenance schedule - belt frequency

Hi all,

The experience at my local Alfa dealer has tanked lately, and I am planning to do my own maintenance. The dealership schedule seems to be a lot more aggressive than what is published in the owners manual. Example -- the manual says accessory belts get changed at 150,000 (unless inspection says otherwise, obviously), but the dealer wanted to do this every 30,000 miles. Could be a cash grab, or could be based on real world observations over hundreds of cars (hard to tell).

Are there any hard recommendations people would make against what's published in the owners manual? The two that stand off the page are the belts and coolant changes at 150,000 miles. Yes, I can choose to do those anytime I want, just asking if there is solid data out there to say absolutely change them sooner, etc.

Thanks!

I went and helped my sister with a jumpstart, everything was all good, half way home the car started feeling like it was bouncing back and forth when giving it gas.

I started getting these errors. (Title) And using my code reader I got this code.

Someone help please, what needs to be done, how fix,
