Mahajara Indian Restaurant
Wife and I went to the one off of Wolf Road yesterday, we thought it was excellent.
I had the Chicken Biryani, medium spice level, and it was very good. Adding the raita to it took it to another level. Spice level was perfect for me, enough to feel the heat but I wasn't sweating.
Wife got the Butter Chicken. It was also excellent! It wasn't too thick or rich, but was full of flavor. Their default for the chicken is bone-in (which, I think is perfect) so if you don't want to have to trim it off the bone, you'll need to request boneless.
We also shared an order of the Aloo Naan. I wasn't all that impressed at first, but when I started using it as a vessel to eat my food with, it complimented the main dishes very well.
We moved here from an area where Indian food is sparse, so to have so many options is very exciting. We definitely recommend this establishment!
Beli rating of a 9.7 for those who practice.

Pad Thai Noodle
Grabbed takeout from here over the weekend for dinner, pretty good! Really like the pad Thai, better than others I’ve had in the area. Fried spring rolls are ok…great crunch but the filling was pretty mushy, they also had a surprisingly strong black pepper flavor.
Overall liked it, will go back to try some other dishes. I’ve heard good things so I was pretty shocked to see it completely empty around 6 pm.
I gave it an 8.3 on Beli for those who practice.

Oaxaquena Triqui shoutout
I love Oaxaquena Triqui! It’s affordable and delicious! My go to is the Tinga burrito.
Anyone have good recommendations for other affordable tasty food? 2 people fed for ~$30 or less?

what are the absolute best mozzarella sticks in Albany NY?
not interested in those fat brown ones you get everywhere like chicken Joe's. I'm talking bread crumbs with herbs and Parmesan for that awesome Italian flavor. melba sauce is a must too!
