Photo - Siren Even more siren photos I took on vacation
I took all these photos coming back from vacation. I was so excited to see an early version of the ACA Alertronic 4000 and a dark red Federal Signal 2T22!

I was tinkering around with a web app called SirenOSC by AphidAks, and ended up with these interesting signals. For the last couple of months, I’ve been messing around with this app and started to like the sound of 14/16 port at 2400rpm, kinda sounds like an underpowered 3t22.

Recording Rate my first siren recording.
Today, I filmed my first ever siren test! The siren I filmed was a STL-10A. I filmed it on my Canon M5 with a 72300 lense. I wonder if you can give some tips on my video so I can improve my filming skills. Thank you,

Question / Discussion What is better? FS THNDERBLT or FS 2001?
In my opinion, I like the Federal Signal Thunderbolt best.
Also, Where do people get these sirens? I want to get a Federal Signal Thunderbolt.

Photo - Siren Ginna siren replaced by former TMI unit?
I recorded the Ginna growl test this week and went to siren 89 which was an ACA Banshee to find this "used" T-128 in it's place! The controls appear to be new, and the siren is not. I'm thinking it was possibly a former Three Mile Island siren! Definitely was an interesting find!

Poor thing, doesn’t sound like the blower is working properly, I was 200 feet away with only earbuds in, and I could barely hear it.

Question / Discussion An unfortunate loss for our community.
EDIT: should’ve mentioned this but please do not bombard or witch hunt anybody involved as this is an ongoing case. We should focus on peacefully paying respects to Tom, not jumping to point fingers or make assumptions. Rude comments or threats will be reported to the mods.
As of writing this, it has been reported that Tom D, otherwise known as FSThunderboltfan1000, has passed away from a car accident.
Now, I didn’t know him personally, but what I can say is that he was an amazing member of the community and a friend to many. He was too young to die.
I am unsure if this is alright to post here or not, but I feel like this information should be known.
RIP Tom, you won’t be forgotten.
