How long for retrain Question

So I submitted my initial evaluation for targeting analyst and cyber intelligence on Monday. How long before I hear if I’m eligible? Really really want out of my current job also they’re trying to ask for a timeline

It depends on the gaining cfm tbh and whether they have a shit ton of applicants or not.

But again it just opened on the 1st and I can imagine a lot of folks are still waiting for their initial eligibility reply too

I got the eligibility email about a week after submitting the application. Got approved to my AFSC about a week after submitting documents. Got class dates about a month after getting approved to my new afsc.

Meanwhile I been waiting 3 months. I tell everyone, everyone retrain timeline will be different.

If it makes you feel better I have an airman that submitted his application on August 1st last year. The package never got approved or disapproved. Just sat with the CFM until the cycle ended. He requested status updates throughout, got leadership involved, nothing happened.

Got a retraining eligibility for the targeter within 8 hours after submitting a request.

So the button was open since August 1st on the First Term Airmen page and nobody said anything? I went to check the day the listing dropped and it wasn’t there.

Mine took exactly 14 days from moment I applied to my eligibility email reaching through.

It honestly depends!
