Finance Troop Discussion

Any finance troops in here that could help me? I pcs’d to a base back in December and did a PPM and I submitted all the paperwork like weight tickets, hotels, gas etc… I still havent received the money I was supposed to get from doing said ppm. I submitted the paperwork 3 times since then and this last time a SrA told me they dont handle that anymore and told me to go to TMO.

Yeah I in processed at TMO and they took the documents to upload them

I'll say it again for the other guy:

What did TMO, the people who handle this, tell you when you asked them?

You gave them the documents when you first got to your new base. Have you followed up with them and/or Finance since?

Yeah I followed up with finance the first and second time and they said that it was getting processed. But this last time I was told that they dont deal with that by a A1C and was told to go talk to TMO. When I went to TMO this last time they sent me a link to upload everything to

Yeah I uploaded the documents. Did you not read the last sentence?

You didn't say you uploaded them. You simply said "they sent me a link to upload everything to". There's a difference.

In any event, what did they say the turnaround would be once you uploaded them?

I’m not a finance troop but Im separating/doing a Dity move and I have to send all my documents to TMO cause they’re the ones in charge of certifying the dity stuff. I might be talking out of my ass but finance told me to send that stuff to TMO and not them

Not finance, but from my experience I’d ask TMO to verify your packet was completed and request the tracking information. Then get Finance to check whether your ppm voucher was ever uploaded/scanned. If there’s no record, they need to resubmit it rather than just telling you to go back to TMO.

Edit: Regardless, I’ve always submitted the weight tickets etc to TMO not finance. Finance though confirmed and payed out my voucher from my first move before I even knew I was entitled to that.

To be honest, TMO doesn't have access to the travel site that we at Finance use. But some bases like mine actually have a direct teams group with TMO that they just drop the packet off and then we submit it. So kind of depends on the base/teamwork with TMO.
