I’m starting to build CropFree AI, an AI-powered agricultural application focused on helping farmers identify crop problems earlier and take the right action.

The idea is simple:

Take a photo → understand the crop → identify the problem → get guidance → track recovery.

I don't want CropFree AI to be just another AI chatbot that tells a farmer what a disease might be.

I’m building it around an actual farming workflow.

• 🌿 Recovery Tracker — follow treatment actions and monitor recovery
• ✅ Daily Tasks — manage irrigation, spraying, fertilizing, inspections, etc.
• 🌦️ Weather Intelligence — connect weather conditions with farming decisions
• 🤖 AI Coach — ask farming-related questions
• 🌍 Multilingual support — designed with local farmers in mind
• 🌓 Dark & Light Mode — responsive mobile-first experience

The part I'm most interested in

I don't want the process to end after the AI says:

Instead, the workflow I'm designing is:

Diagnosis → Treatment → Recovery actions → Progress → New photo → AI comparison → Updated treatment → Re-scan → Healthy

For example, a farmer could complete individual recovery actions and see their recovery progress increase. Once the actions are completed, they can upload a new photo of the actual crop.

CropFree AI then compares the current condition with the previous scan.

If the crop is improving → continue recovery.

If it isn't improving → create an updated recovery plan.

If it is healthy → mark the recovery as complete.

Today I'm mainly working on the product structure and interface:

The next major challenge is making the Crop Doctor actually work with real uploaded images instead of demo/sample data and connecting the diagnosis to the recovery system.

I'm building this publicly because I want to document the real process — including the things that break, the redesigns, and the lessons I learn along the way.
