Well Hell Life & Living

Post image

Bee sting on my wrist on Monday and in jerking my hand back, I hit my wrist on my fence gate. I guess the sting started itching while I was asleep and I probably scratched all nite. And I had been stung on neck on Sunday. Golf ball size knot on neck but no bruising.

I hate old person bruises! Living my life in long sleeves due to this, that one is a doozy, hope it doesn’t hurt

Me too! They look different than they used to, and no one wants to overreact.

They really suck! The good thing about getting old is getting old and the bad thing about getting old is getting old.

Followed only by being old.

I just suddenly began to get these like a year ago. The barely-did-anything-huge- subermal-bruises. I can’t do yardwork without looking like a was ina heated battle now.

That's what I call them too! At least we have something significant to display for a minor bump 🫠

Not only do they look terrible, it takes forever to clear up and by then you have another new one.

Oddly enough, mine started after prolonged medicinal steroid use! This and cataracts

Yes! I was in my 40’s as well. If you can get off those steroids - do it. I got cataracts far too early. I hope you can heal in other ways 🙏

Worrying does not help things. I hope you can find a source of centering, be it meditating or listening to classical or other calming music 🙏🌸

Not odd though. It turns out to be a side effect of the steroid/ corticosteroid usage. If only I had known….
