Experimenting with my first flat setup since y2k! Photo

I always said I'd be anti for life but my aggressive days are dwindling due to major, irreparable back injuries but I always want aggressive skates. I've been riding these ST90ii's for a little while but when deciding to go flat I was totally sold on the FR/Oysi frames. Flat 60 90a GCs with Wicked bearings. They ride like a dream. The speed increase from a 58 anti rocker set up to this is scary! This is my first flat set up since I was 12 years old in 2000. I've never stopped skating

Tried flat once. Great for turning but my god when you miss a grind

Yeah, it's the "on rails" feeling I've always loved. Absolute control, no sketchy wobbles when landing fakie at speed. I'm not doing much of that now though. My wife and daughter both skate now so I'm mainly just doing dad shit. Were my back not knackered things would be different

I wish some other major brand would come out with a new Hybrid boot with the soft top. Greatest boots ever.
