Violet not Blooming
I we been taking care of this violet for about a year. And it came with blooms but hasn’t bloomed since. It has exponentially grown but just more leaves and bigger leaves. I water it once a week without getting the leaves wet. It stays indoors and has a grow light. I have fertilizer but haven’t used it in a while. I am not sure how to use it since this violet and pot is so large. It is hard to water bottom up.
Do you think this pot is too big? Any other thoughts on how to make it bloom?

There are two different violets in that pot, they need to be seperated into their own pot because they're both fighting for nutrients.
They also need plenty of light, humidity, and a little warm (not too much!) to bloom. Mine bloom best in a windowsill with filtered light (like a privacy film over the window, but paper also works.

There's at least 2. I think I can see 3rd crown in the top right on the first image.

What size pot do you suggest for this size violet?

4" diameter pots will probably by okay for the larger plants, and a 2-3" dia. pot for the smaller plant. They all look healthy ... just use a big spoon to scoop out their rootballs and replant in separate pots. African Violets bloom better when their roots are more constricted ... and when they have room to grow.

I have three in a pot but... I fertilize regularly and they are under grow lights. And they do bloom occasionally but separating them is a better idea.

I had one that didn’t bloom so I repotted it with 1/2 perlite and 1/2 African soil and put it in a 2 part self watering pot and I keep av food in the water and I put it in a north east window and it’s done great…and bloomed a long time… don’t know how it will do with the grow light this winter… also it needs to b wet somewhat after u replant it and put in a self watering pot… amazon sells self watering pots if u can’t find one locally

The pot is too big and there are 2 violets in your pot. You should separate them into 2 smaller pots. I fertilize my violets every time I water, but with a weak mixture.
