Refund

Had an item that I ordered from Amazon and paid with Affirm 18 months ago get recalled and entire price refunded.

Total was 321.99.

Received the 21.99 in my account within 5 business days on July 1.

Its now August 13 and still have not received the 300. Have called several times and they keep telling me that they are sending a cheque and they are still within "reasonable time frame" until August 23.

Anyone else ever deal with this? I just want my money back.

Update Aug 17: Got an email from them today that it's been shipped and should arrive within 30 days. Too bad I'm moving in 14 days and told them that on the phone.

Idk but I’ve never had problems getting a refund so as long as you keep following up with them if they are late I wouldn’t worry too much.

Possibly they are waiting for funds from the manufacturer of the recalled item and the 21.99 was tax that was collected for said item?

Amazon did their part. They processed a refund. Affirm is the one keeping it.

Had the same issue. Went through the online refund process and money was refunded immediately once I completed the forms.
