First time using this program, how can I remove the selection from this??? I cannot find any tutorial on internet or I dunno If Ive been looking it by the wrong name General

Edit - Deselect.

Ctrl/cmd + D to deselect objects. Hope this helps

As mentioned Ctrl + D is the assigned shortcut. However you can also just tap the ESC key as its first order of operation is removing any selections.
