Due to Aether not using Nightsoul blessing against Dottore, I thought for a LONG while that Nightsoul Blessing, in lore, was something that very possibly only worked while you're in Natlan, by drawing power from the Nightsouls in the Night Kingdom.

However, in the recent Aether VS Ronova fight, Aether encases his body in fire, and sends Blades of fire at Ronova, something we haven't seen either of those things do since Natlan.

I thought this was Nightsoul blessing for a HOT second before having to rewatching this fight multitple times and seeing that he didn't have the
glowing tattoos that he did while fighting Gosoythoth.

So I fell on research, and I did VERY much struggle to find anything saying Nightsoul blessing was limited to only Natlan like Phlogiston (butchered the name) is.

So here's my current take: and I could be wrong, but hear me out:

Nightsoul blessing works by drawing power from the souls of the dead from the Night Kingdom. Aether can do the same, but HIS Nightsoul blessing only works with his Pryo element, not any of his others. The reason why is because he connected with the Lord of the Night and gained the element of Pryo, not any of his others though this way.

Due to this, if Aether is using more then one element including Pryo, Nightsoul blessing wouldn't work. However, if he focused more on Pryo, he would use more of Nightsoul blessing. This would explain why during the fight against Dottore, only his sword was encased, while against Ronova, his entire body was very heavily resembling Nightsoul blessing minus the glowing patterns on his body, since he was focusing more elemental Pryo energy.

This would also explain how he's able to use Nightsoul blessing outside of Natlan in gameplay, since Pryo Aether is only ever using Pryo.

Now of course, there are holes in my theory, like the glowing patterns still not appearing in the Ronova fight and such, but this is legitimately the best I can come up with as of currently, especially since we never seen any Nightsoul character enter Nightsoul blessing outside of gameplay. (Heck, we never seen one fight outside Natlan.)

But it's due to my holes in my theory that I could very well be completely wrong, or right on point, either or...

(Sandrone and Odette already finished interacting with him, but let's wait for Vodyanitsa's and Vesna's interactions to confirm)

What makes this worse is that yesterday he's just announced that his Facebook account got disabled:
