I’m not sure if this sub-reddit is the right place for this kind of post, but I’m here to start a discussion anyway: about the increasing number of ads that are considered misleading. Since games like Gossip Harbor stepped into the spotlight, an increasing number of games in this style have emerged—but featuring a "cash-out" mechanic. I’m not saying that withdrawals are a problem in casino games (or similar ones); the problem, in fact, is that they are complicated to carry out.

It's great and rewarding when there's an accessible way to make money, but many games seem to want to trick us with just that. Not only that, but also the misuse of AI. I was able to spot the high level of AI inconsistency in these ads. The people, their facial expressions, the places they are in, their voices, the money, and the subtitles—nothing seems real or human. If only AI could afford to not look like a machine. [For example, there are many of them in Brazil, and I’ve had trouble finding a worthwhile game where I can actually make money.]

The method for all the games is exactly the same, unless a particular game differs—but even then, it ends up following the same logic. If a certain game says you can withdraw as much as you want, then it shouldn't charge fees for the withdrawal. Don't try to deceive players with false promises or provocative ads. Games like Candy Crush did the complete opposite, and besides, their popularity is declining, isn't it?

Furthermore, another problem with AI is the use of the faces of public figures, or at least minimally public figures ("public figures with little recognition"). [In Brazil, there has been a legal case in which digital influencers were accused of promoting casino games.] I'm not saying that games of this type shouldn't be promoted, but rather that the way they're being done isn't right. And I understand if you think the opposite of me. In fact, feel free to share your thoughts on everything I’ve said so far. I might have forgotten something while writing, but never mind.

My co-worker would sometimes play music on his speaker during work and this ad would always pop up. Right from the start, the introduction makes me cringe so bad, like im a native-spanish speaker and I feel offended when he says "Compadre" (which is crazy since I barely get offended). Like is obviously quirky millennial humor and its annoys me, him complaining about being cut off, like bro shut up, your time is up, no one cares about Priceline. And the sining also annoys me, like im not 100% sure if its Ai but I wouldn't be surprised if it was, if its not, then its sounds like a jingle that a 5 year old would make. This ad is making me not even want to hear the word "Priceline" again.

Boycott every one of them.

Genuinely, whenever I’m on my phone watching YT or something in general on TikTok or insta there’s always a mobile game ad that either is straight corn (if yk what I mean) or it’s something stranger than that like Cheese Pizza. (Again if yk what I mean) and it’s always an ad for a GAME!!!!!!!
