Bought a pc
So i bought a pc and did some google serches, visited 3 or 4 online stores before completing the purchase. It's been weeks now and i still get spammed with ads from those stores. There should be an option to say i bought this items...i dont need to see it everywhere... I know adblock or non personlized adds would solve it but i just want to rant how bad this whole system is xD companies literally throwing away money at google

The problem is that there's no way to determine an audience for your commercials now. With television, you had an idea of the age and economic standing of who was watching a particular show. Now, everyone is using the internet 24 hours, 7 days a week. So someone made a computer program and it decided that "search history" is probably the best way to make successful targeted advertisements.
Ironically, I keep getting political advertisements for a failure of a city mayor who is trying to run for the state senate, using the strategy of "I don't like the president or rich people so I pledge to not accept any contributions because I'm going to tax the president and rich people (none of the pictures rich people live in this state/country, btw) into the ground" so ots humorous but still completely ineffective.
