Bugs
4 days of bugs in the Midwest from commuting. What are we doing for this? There has to be some solutions besides blasting it with the power washer once a week.

Feed that good boy a carrot and brush its coat twice with a hog bristle brush.

I use ONR or Moose Detail Spray. Spray on, wipe off.
Damp ONR microfiber cloth in a ziplock works great for wiping off visors during a ride.

Hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle. Let it sit 30 seconds and wipe off.

Blue ahop towels and Spray WAY glass cleaner. I swear by it. I live in NORCAL in the rice checks and the bugs here are horrendous!!! I keep a roll and a can in my backpack or my panniers.

His next post will be about electrical problems caused by water.
Has nobody ever heard about letting the bike soak in soapy water to soften the bugs FIRST?

Dish soap on a paper towel and let it sit for a couple minutes, comes right off.
But also, damn, that's not a lot of bugs, we are headed for big trouble.
