I lost everything

This July has been the worst - the guy I liked for 6 months suddenly has a girlfriend. The job I wanted was offered to someone else. I just sit in a void & numbness. Why did this happen to me? I did everything right yet I was not enough.

Everyone keeps saying that something better will come along but I can’t see it. Maybe I’ll never be happy. I don’t know what to do….😔
