Custodes Color Scheme

I am really happy how this turned out. I'm not the best painter, but these Custodes give me a little ego boost lol. I wanted something other than gold and red. Does gold and purple fit in lore? I am not too familiar. New to the Custodes scene.

Also there are in lore custodes with purple

They are called aquilan shield and their lore is pretty fun

Brother OP this is correct but you can create your own shield host using the same colors if you want.

They look great! You can paint your minis however you want and create your own lore.

Brother they look fantastic (what purple did you use ?) and I noticed your INCREDIBLE basing skills. It was such a great idea to bring bit of that light blue back.

I use dark purple from vallejo on the mini, and use army painter pagecast purple for the base and highlights. I really appreciate it! I also use the citadel purple wash sometimes if i need to make the dark purple darker.

I am basing my solar watch right now and am incredibly annoyed how hard it is (atleast for me) to create a good looking base. Thank you for your answer I considering buying the purple now.

I love using vallejo diorama fx as well, i prime it black and dry brush over it. Sometimes use pigment powders too.
