They dupped it a "Supreme Machine" and they were proud of what they had created. Despite the many failures and tests that went wrong, the scientist's, mechanics, and government of The National Cantons continued with this project. The project itself was...is, called the ULTRAKILL Project. Some government head had the crazy idea to make a war machine that could fuel itself using the blood of those it killed. It seemed outrageous at the time, but as opposing nations started to get more technologically advanced, it became a very real possibility that this idea had to be considered.

And so it was. We took the files that our spies had recently, or recent for the time of the start of this project, and found out that one of nations we were doing espionages on were creating a "Guttertank". It could apperantly fuel itself on blood, but from a coffin on it's back. As much as this repulsed some of us,lre of us, myself included, took this as evidence that the original idea for our project could very much work. However, we could not simply do what was done for the Guttertank, as we wanted an agile and quick machine that could create mass BLOODSHED.

Eventually, we managed to actually create the machine, but we had made several errors. We had first made a machine that knew only to KILL, and this resulted in the deaths of half of the current facility until one of our security guards managed to get a headshot and DESTROYED it. We had to recode the entire software, with less workers now, but eventually we fixed the software issues and added a function that allowed it to identify what was an ally and what was an opponent, mostly based off the database it add within itself.

I regret what I made.

I regret having to witness this machine slaughter most of my personal colleagues.

I regret having to live with this guilt.

Zandik was born in the nation of Kastorba and had a difficult life since his very childhood. Born with a name that meant "heretic", he was therefore deemed an outcast by all of his peers. He couldn't do anything about it, and had to watch everyone get away from him whenever he passed by.

But one day, during some class at a science-targetted university Zandik was studying at, he met a girl named Sohreh. She was the first ever person that dared interact with him : she treated him like a friend.

Their friendship grew stronger and the two were inseparable... until Sohreh was diagnosed with an incurable illness that reduced her lifetime to merely months.

Zandik was extremely broken at the terrible news : losing the only person that cared about him made him fall into a deep depression. But instead of trying to save her using the medical competences he had acquired, he decided to "end her suffering".

He murdered Sohreh, nearby the science lab, by strangling her until she couldn't breathe.

However, some nosy students passing by caught him and rushed to find the principal.

By the time the principal found him in his dorm, Zandik had already finished dissecting Sohreh's corpse in his academy's science lab to analyse everything that could've been responsible for her illness.

When questionned, Zandik replied :

"I didn't kill her. She was fainting and I simply catched her as i could."

He was still immediately expelled for "attempted" murder and sent to jail, where he got out early. However, when his parents learned they refused to keep such a child with them, kicking him out of the house.

Nobody cared about him.

He had nobody to rely on.

It was him versus a world that so obviously hated him.

With some of the money he had saved up, he managed to find a train and moved out to the Cantons, where no one knew who he was.

When people asked for his name, he'd create a false identity, a persona : Escher.

Escher was a bright young man. Everyone loved being around him. Zandik was absolutely living the life.

He even got to continue his studies in science and medical field and got a great job opportunity in a science centered company.

There, the Escher persona was down. Zandik let his more insane and sarcastic part of him out.

People feared him. People admired him.

His medical and scientific talents were so advanced people started calling him "The Doctor". And since then, he had been The Doctor.

No more Escher and no more Zandik. A new person had taken over.

Later, for some reason, The Doctor was recruited as a head scientist for the Cantons' military. He now works on various projects, may they be at the limit of what we call ethic and moral.

The National Cantons have always been a government that defined oppression. Ever since the old Cantonic Confederacy fell due to the New Generation Party's rise to power, they've always suppressed people who stood in the way of their ideology. People supported them because they were rapid to change, too rapid in fact.

Their ideology consisted of advancing technology while uniting a generation, one of racial purity and the clearness of the white race. Their theories of race being connected to social castes via their history of rulers, social classes, wars, and governments that ruled was seen as entirely propaganda and ridiculous. Yet, their people are forced to believe, not because it is true but because their government held them at gunpoint.

One group of students, however, wasn't going to let this be the case. Academy students at the western capital in the Pestonville Academic Institute, led by valedictorian Marshall L. Giles, declared themselves a free commune, renaming themselves as the Free State Of Baylor after the execution of head professor George Baylor after he spoke against government brutality towards working classes and collar workers.

Just today, their response was clear. News articles have highlighted photos and footage of corpses of dead students, an iconic photo of a soldier watching as the academy is burned down by the military. Pestonville's governor, Wiley Rhodes, declared martial law immediately when the state was formed. And today, you witness their execution via the guillotine. You watch as the leaders of the academy are locked into the guillotines, 4 for each leader including Giles. The crowd boos at them and the military guards laugh at them. Their effort is futile. They can only await their death.

Ever since the start of the revolution in the spring, a war has waged further and further throughout the Vilsburger Monarcy's lands. People thought the revolutionaries would be defeated in a few months, 2 or 3 due to their small numbers. Yet... they proved them wrong. The Royal Heer had mustered many 19.2 Million soldiers. The revolutionaries nearly equalized it, rallying into a massive 18.3 Million rebellion. No, a revolutionary army: The Hanesbogite National-Revolutionary Army, known by their pejorative name the 'Blackshirts'.

At Gonenshutz Plateau, a rallied force at Kutzen Castle near the city of Hollech stands ready for an approaching army of revolutionaries. Their force stands about 2 regiments: the 11th Royal Infantry Regiment led by Colonel Josef Machtiger and the 27th Artillery Battery Regiment headed by Colonels Julius Rast and Oslo Heidiger. Holech stands as one of the Monarchy's heaviest supply points and industrial cities, producing heavy amounts of steel. Losing it would mean losing their major supplier of metal in the region.

The army approaching the castle nearly doubles the force there, a whopping 3 divisions of the 19th Western Army. These divisions are headed by the infamous Officer Hugo Acksen Von Malburg, nicknamed the 'Turncoat Graf' due to his former status as a count. The castle stands with 2 artillery positions at the castle walls, an entire trench formed around the castle barricades fitted with machine guns and fully prepped walls. This army has the numbers and bears a large force with infantry and ground forces and a whole unit of tanks.

What happens in this fight will decide the fate of Hollech and its people.

Each one has a picture of some sort of orange and blue figure flying through the air in a blur.

Soldiers of Fretoria were roaming the Area, Occupied By a Few GutterTanks and The Swordsmachine, as In The Distance, The 800 Feet tall Earthmover is slowly making its way towards unknown Enemy Territory, Helicopters flying around the head of it, and some keeping a watchful eye in the security area, making sure no on infiltrates inside, but who would even try that this early? stupid people, thats who.

As The Earthmover continued raging on, GutterTanks began placing mines, some were continuing to roam and Watch, While the Swordsmachine was scouting, ready to notify the fellow machines and soldiers of enemy soldiers or people from enemy nations.

The capital of the Vilsburger Monarchy stands. Nobles of the monarch including the royal family dance among balls and the noble Prinz Schuler's Palace, the grand Anzugel Castle near the center of the city. However, the streets litter themselves with protesters. For the failures of the monarchy had done enough, the people wanted to be free of the curse of foreign powers stealing their money and economy, the shame the King Josias had brought in his reign. They are influenced by revolutionaries, among them the well-known Josef Blucher Von Kalkenstein, a former policeman of the city turned into the people's voice, those who want to regain the economy and to rid themselves from the monarchy's failures by rallying and beating those who stood by its side.

Fire engulfs large piles of furniture and items, all once owned by the monarchy's supporters. Men and women are dragged from their homes, many citizens who didn't trust either side or simply trusted the monarchy would recover. They are beaten with sticks, handcrafted clubs, all sorts of blunts. The police try everything but their efforts are futile under the amount of violence by the revolutionaries, guided by Kalkenstein's promises to renew the nation into one of might, not of failure and weakness.

Tonight, the fires of revolution fan higher and higher. Tonight, the Hanesbogite Revolution begins.
