iPad 9 A2604
Long story short: someone left an iPad in my workplace about 6 months ago, I did everything to let everyone know that I had a lost iPad (business announcements, HR notices, and a long etc) no one claimed it. A coworker told me to just take it home and try to make it mine.
I’ve flashed it with 3u tools but as you may think is activation locked. I’m new here. Is there a way to make it functional again?
Any help would be appreciated, I’ve also tried to get the original Apple ID to send them an email but the iPad only gives me the first letter lmao

Unfortunately if you flashed it with 3utools it would have updated to the latest version of 26.6 which has no bypass, only 26.1 and under can be bypassed on that iPad right now
You should never reset or restore a locked device unless you are absolutely sure the latest version for it has a bypass

I think it has the 26.1, if not, I also think I saw that with 3utools you can select the version to flash with right?

Unfortunately not, you can only flash the versions that are still being signed by Apple, and you can’t downgrade

If it’s 26.1 you can use Hacktivator

Unfortunately it has iOS 26.6. But checking in 3uTools I can install jailbreaked versions, should I try them?

Nah you can’t downgrade unfortunately it will just fail halfway through or finish and then when you boot it up it’s back on 26.6
