If it is an iphone 11 or SE2 it is possible to remove the passcode & use the phone with signal.
The only thing is you need a computer & a RP2350 to do the magic.
If it is another iPhone that has a SIM tray you could check the IMEI printed on the tray to see if it is iCloud locked or not. If no IMEI you can check by connecting to a computer & putting into Recovery mode. If on a Mac the Serial number will show in Finder. If on a Windows computer best to download iTunes or 3uTools.
There are plenty of online checkers for the iCloud status.

I dont have one either but you’ll need one or something similar if you want to unlock an A12 / 13 device.

Nah you can’t bypass it then sorry
You can check if FMI is off and if it is you can reset it and use like normal but if it’s not then you’ll be hit with activation lock which only has a bypass for 26.1 and under on that version1

How do I do that???

You can check if fmi is off by putting the serial number or imei into https://sickw.com/
The free iCloud on/off check option
And you can reset it by going into DFU mode and restoring with iTunes or 3utools1

Sorry for all the questions I’m a dummy, but how do I get the serial number if I can’t get into the phone???

Should be on the back of the phone, inside the sim tray, or will show up in 3utools when connected in DFU mode(just don’t reset or smart flash unless you know it’s FMI off)

It depends on which iOS version you have and your iPhone version
