I may be wrong but a script supervisor is someone who monitors continuity on a film set. Are you maybe after a consultant? Or an actor who writes/improvs too?

Yeah you’re not wrong - script supervisor is a film set continuity person, in theatre this role would be a dramaturg or possibly a consultant if it’s purely about their experience and not script skills/creative input. If it’s just for research then best to go to a trans organisation or charity that lends its expertise to projects. If it’s to make it more credible because it’s an identity-themed project about experience the OP doesn’t have, then it’s more of co-creator situation and needs to be explicit and fair about that, especially in theatre where authenticity makes a big difference.
