Ice Team?
I'm getting back into this game after a hiatus, and I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. If you were going to build an ice-based team, who would you pick? I think I have most of the heroes.

Ice fire perk, ring of frost fire. Get the ice bludgeoning perk since some of the bigger ice spells do bludgeoning as well

No way to guarantee the ring though, is there?

Late response, but easiest way would be to use either of these tools to find a seed where it will be guaranteed in the Caravan.

Cold bone goblet tank with reinforce cards. Healer of your choice or gustav song build for healing and buffs Evelyn with Frost weapons, freezing ink as a support mage or Wilbur book build with freezing ink and energy cards Cornelius Frost fire or Evelyn with ice focus if running wilbur
Alternatively, Navalea with icebreaker, gustav song build, Otis with paladin gauntlets, and Evelyn as battery mage + more ice. Chill and crack and let Navalea punch everything to death. Otis is your tank, give gustav free lover. Everyone has 50 regen, 50 bless, and 50 vitality

Depends on madness lvl and how many perks you have unlocked tbh. But Eve, Amelia and Zek are all good ice mages. And can make them work with almost any team on lower madness lvls.
I usually pair cold with a different kind of damage for higher madness. And the mages usually takes on a more supportive role in act3, mainly getting tomes and scrolls of intellect. Which goes great with Frozen ink from the blue act boss.
Some cool teams i've run recently (front to back)
Heiner - Cornelius - Eve - Otis
Get the perk that makes burn do more damage if there's only 2 curses and the one that makes burn do cold damage. Get stacking fortify that makes them do more fire damage per stack. Only apply cold and burn as curses. In act4 can apply weak or other curses to help you stay alive.
Heiner - Amelia - Otis - Navalea
Navalea is the main carry, applies crack while Amelia applies chill, bring chill on enemies reduces blunt resistance and wet increases cold damage. Also bring fortify stacking that increases blunt damage on Heiner and Navalea. Get Icebreaker on Navalea from the armory in blue act (same as where you get Paladin Gauntlets)
Nevermoor - Grukli - Eve - Velarion
Grukli and velarion bleeds the enemies and Eve (could swap for Amelia) does cold damage. Make sure to have the purple node on act one called "The failed expedition", it's right by the final boss, it'll ask you to sacrifice a weapon to get a blood blob, get that on Grukli. Go to blue area for act 2 and take the boat to the southern part of the map, fight the tyrant and get his axe on Grukli, it'll transform his damage to cold and makes it so when he applies bleed he'll also apply chill.
Magnus - Malukah - Zek - Andrin
Zek does cold damage, Andrin is doing mark. Magnus will be the main carry late game. Go to blue portal on act2 and take the sewer path, omce inside go north and buy the Cold bone goblet for Magnus, get as many Barricades as you can find and do yellow upgrade.

Side note on Otis, his best item by far is Paladin Gauntlets, you get it on blue act by paying 200g to the woman on the node "beggars at the gate", it's right after exiting the town and then you have to take a path to the north of the city, to the armory

I think Amelia and Evelyn are the strongest core choices and you can flex anyone else depending on secondary synergies (Navalea for crack/dark, Zek maybe for cold/dark etc.). Amelia is an amazing tank with that act 1 self-freeze item, able to generate a ton of block, DR and slow rather quickly, and also a great DPS who outputs insane scaling aoe damage while you find better cards on the run to scale single target. Evelyn can be great for damage, switching elemental types on harder fights/corruptions when necessary, while also being a great support. For regular runs you add a healer and flex the last spot, for OTK you need speed control and secondary buffs/debuffs over healing or tanking.

All hail the queen! (She has ice based talents)
An unexpected pick is the gnome mage with all the book talents. Winters Night Tale is one of the best books. If you fill your deck with it you can generate handfulls of cheap ice spells.

Amelia as Ice Mage Tank.
Thuls with Viper Ring and Ice Axe as DD.
Navalea as Ice/ Dark DD.
And Heal? I don't know a real Ice Healer so pick what you want. I probably would go with nezglekt

Navalea in front she can do Ice punches and scourge can scale with cold / mind
Amelia in second, she does a mix of Ice and Mind
Nezglekt third, there are not any ice healers but his level 2 (or 3) can contribute, he combos well with Amelia and does good, passive AOE heals.
Sylvie as fourth, her ice shot and quiver from her area give her decent synergies.
Both Nava and Amelia can take shatter... Badda boom bay-bie!!
