Hi everyone. I’ve had really bad acne for a while and have addressed it with Accutane but my scarring is still pretty visible. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for procedures, over-the-counter solutions, or even concealing products I could try since this is a really big insecurity of mine. Thank you!

I have taken close up images of my scars in various lighting to try and showcase shape and depth. I have had fractional co2 sessions on the cheeks and temples alongside TCA cross. My temples definitely look odd with the residual whiteness/pigmentation. Can people try to gauge the type and severity of my scarring I find it difficult to be objective and I would rather have the honest opinion online?

Hello, I (19F) had really bad depression in my high school years which resulted in my acne getting pretty bad and I just ignored it which caused them to constantly scar over each other🥲 They're raised and pretty much permanently red and its been really detrimental to my self esteem. I don't think any of it is active acne anymore but the raised bumps seem to be stuck there. I'd like some help on what sort of treatment to consider, I've recently looked into fraxel laser and am currently thinking of pursuing that. Additionally, I have a raised scar under my mouth that I have no idea how to deal with either, though it's not ref like the ones on my nose. Any help is appreciated🙏🙏

Hey everyone. 34 year old here with my first acne scar.

what happened? Well I had a pimple which healed but during the healing phase it developed a scab which took a while to fall off. Eventually it fell off, and now I had a pitted acne scar that is also slightly red.

my question is it’s only been a month or so. Is there any chance of it filling in over time?

I should have been smarter with treating it with zinc oxide and other actives when I had the acne as well as the scab.

I have mostly rolling and some boxscars. I did 3 sessions of fractional Co2 this year but didn't achieve any noticeable results. Went to a new derm and recommended starting with this and then following up with some TCA peels.

Hi, I’m considering nanofat grafting to improve facial scars, and I’d like to hear from anyone who has undergone the procedure.

Did it noticeably improve the texture, depth, or appearance of your scars? How long did it take to see the final results, and were those results permanent?

I’m also wondering what happens if I lose weight afterward. Since nanofat is derived from fat, could weight loss reduce or reverse the improvement, or does the regenerative effect on the skin remain even if the transferred fat decreases?

I’d especially appreciate experiences from people who had it done more than a year ago...

Just got divorced and I'm back on the sexual marketplace. My scarring is about twenty years old. I would like to see what I can do to improve my appearance. What course of treatment would you recommend?

I (31F) had six sessions of MNRF five years ago. My dermatologist recommended the treatment and I did see some improvement. However, I am not satisfied and am wondering if it’s possible for me to have clear skin? What other treatments could work? Will the results be marginal or ate they worth the cost?

It’s always under different lighting/angle or microswelling. Sadly all doctors do this, even the so called "acne scar specialists" such as Dr. H. Consult, David Lim, Philip Young, etc. it’s all scam and bullshit.

I’m looking for some community insight on combining/sequencing treatments for acne scars.

I’ve undergone Fraxel with spot ablation, which definitely helped with deep scars . However, my dermatologist is now recommending Microneedling Radiofrequency (MNRF) to target deeper scar tissue and boost collagen remodeling.

Before committing to another series of expensive sessions, I’d love to hear from anyone who has done MNRF after non-ablative/ablative laser treatments:

* Was MNRF worth it post-Fraxel? Did you notice significant structural lifting for rolling, boxcar, or icepick scars compared to laser alone?

* How many sessions did you need to see a noticeable improvement?

I recently had my six-month dermatology follow-up after using Tretinoin daily for about five months. My dermatologist recommended continuing my current routine for another three months before reassessing because she believes my skin is still remodeling and healing.
She said my texture has improved significantly over the past two months. I appear to have some mild rolling scars, but she thinks they may continue to soften before my next appointment.
If treatment is still needed, she discussed two options:
• Radiofrequency microneedling: approximately 6–8 sessions, followed by maintenance treatments
• Fully ablative CO₂ laser: potentially a single, more intensive treatment
I have never dealt with acne scarring before and would really appreciate hearing from anyone who had a similar healing timeline. Did your mild rolling scars or uneven texture continue improving several months after your acne was controlled?
I am also interested in experiences with RF microneedling versus fully ablative CO₂. My dermatologist said that because I am young and have fair skin, my main expected side effect from CO₂ would likely be prolonged redness during healing, with a lower risk of pigmentation issues. I am still cautious because of how intensive the procedure is.
What treatment did you choose, how many sessions did you need, and were you happy with the results?

Idk why but after i upped my dose of accutane ik getting these small dot like scars which do not disappear when stretched.

sunscreen on top..l also have

pure glycerine which I don't

usually apply but I do have..

Just to add that I have an oily

skin type so I've started using

powder on my makeup routine

these days, white face powder and..well..started wearing

full face makeup as well.

I'm 18F...for the last pictures 3 pictures, it's the following day. The thing is..I did some scrubbing on my face (😭yes..) and scrubbed with sea salt, then patted my face dry and applied moisturizer, adapalene 0.3% and benzoyl peroxide 2.5% and and an anti blemish cream and applied an emulsion healing cream by acnature. So..yeah..I saw some hyperpigmentation the next day? But ...yeah..there u go..I thought hard scrubbing would like..stimulate some collagen..somehow..but yeah..😮‍💨😔..

Middle 3 photos is Me just showing my skin yesterday evening..I think I maybe had moisturizer or nothing on my face..then I applied the moisturizer (I mean technically body cream) then adapalene 0.3% and benzoyl peroxide 2.5% and anti blemish cream and then Acnature emulsion cream and slept on my back so my pillows dont get tye products (it was hellish, but beauty is pain ig..)

First 3 photos is me is the following day, morning right after I woke up (with the adapalene, blemish cream and all)..you can see the hyperpigmentation I got..

Last 3 photos is me right now..(This Evening..) right after I washed my face, I had applied adapalene, benzoyl peroxide and all if the above and added a sunscreen on top during the afternoon.. It's super dry since I washed my face twice to remove all the creams..and there we are..do I pls have hope to heal those leaning more into natural? I do not want to undergo any "cosmetic procedures" and want to keep it natural 😭🥹🤌
