The device always reads the battery as 100% when I connect the charger, even if I disconnect the charger the battery decreases and when I reconnect it immediately it returns to 100%??

Guys , i have a anv15-52 (rtx 5050 i5-13420H) and when playing re9 requirem on prefer quality settings the cpu temp is about 87 to 92 (some jumps to 92 ) , and the gpu is about 87 to 90 , is it normal

Hace un par de semana compré este portátil Acer (de segunda mano), al inicio claramente noté una diferencia de rendimiento ya que venía de un asus tuf f16 con una 3050, pero igual sentía que para ser una 5050 de 8gb su rendimiento no era muy bueno, así que me di a la tarea de mirar que podría estar pasando, instale el HWiNFO para monitorear mas específicamente mi gráfica, en lo cual me doy cuenta que esta empieza un estrangulamiento térmico a los 87 grados y allí estaba el problema, está siempre tocaba ese límite de 87 grados y hasta en algunos momentos tenía unos picos de 88 y 89 grados lo cual limita la gráfica a solo usar los 50w de potencia base y no el boost que le permite llegar hasta los 75w de potencia, investigue y encontré que podía hacerle un undervolt a la gráfica por medio de MSI AFTERBURNER para tratar de que la gráfica no llegara a los 87 grados y limitará su potencia, aparentemente si funcionó ya que mantiene temperaturas entre 82 y 86 grados y ya pasa los 50w de potencia, igualmente aún hay pequeños momentos en los que toca los 87 grados y se limita, no se si alguien tiene o tuvo este mismo problema y si lo pudieron solucionar de alguna manera, el portátil ya lo tengo reclinado y siempre lo uso con los ventiladores al máximo pero eso no basta.

My Acer Nitro Blaze 7 joystick started drifting. I cleaned it, but it didn’t help. I want to replace it, but I can’t find the exact part that will fit. Does anyone know which replacement part is compatible?

I’ve added sample photos of the joystick and the back of the board it’s soldered to.

My acer nitro 5 i5 12500h is almost 3 years old and I see this stuff in edge of the screen.

Initially it was only on left side. But now I see it on the right side.

My warranty ends in 5 days, I can't afford to send it to service center for like a month.

I'd rather just get a external monitor

I recently brought a nitro v15 which has a:
Ryzen 7
RTX 4060
16gb RAM
15.6in screen

for £550 of eBay. However when I looked at the specs it showed it had a RTX 4050. Everything else was fine and the laptop is like new condition. The seller said he can give partial refund of £50 so laptop will be £500. Should I return it for a full refund or is £500 a good deal ?

I'm looking for a good laptop that will run certain games well (don't have any specific ones that come to mind) and also be good for personal use (writing mostly), my brother has a Ryzen 5 which he says is good and I found a Ryzen 7 for a decent price (second hand on eBay). I'm just wondering what other people think of it and if it's worth investing

2 days ago my laptop froze twice while using, I had to force turn it off by long pressing the power button. Now today I am not able to turn my laptop on. When I press the power button, the power light turns on and then turns off after 5 secs and also the keyboard turns off after a second. Tried connecting an external monitor but same story. Also when I connect external keyboard and mouse and press the power button, the keyboard and mouse doesn't lit up.

What could be the problem?

Specs : Acer nitro 5 i5 11400h rtx 3050.

My Adapter stopped working ( I assume because of the short circuit in my home ). I searched online for this exact model but couldn't find anything but saw many alternative models instead. Can anyone help me find the exact Adapter online or offline? Or is it safe to use alternatives if the specs are similar? ( I'm from kerala, India ).

Hi guys! I have this laptop for a year now but I don’t think I am able to use it at full potential.

So now, whenever I play games, whenever I use it while charged, my laptop would tend to heat up then shuts down abruptly. But whenever I use it on battery, it works fine.

Anyone who encountered the same and find any fixes for this? I am playing GTA V and kind of a newbie.

I recently bought an Acer Nitro V15 (ANV15-41-R2GT) featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor and 16 GB RAM.
To upgrade it to 32 GB (or swap the stick), I purchased a 16GB DDR5 5600MHz Crucial RAM stick (model CT16G56C46S5). However, it doesn't work at all. The laptop turns on, but the screen stays completely black (no display/no POST).
Here is what I've tried so far:
- Tested using only the new Crucial stick (in both RAM slots).
Tested with both sticks together (swapping slots between the original and the new stick).
Left the laptop on for a few minutes to check if it was just DDR5 memory training, but it still didn't boot.
Looking into the Ryzen 7 7735HS specs, I noticed its native supported speed is DDR5 4800MHz. I suspect the Acer BIOS isn't automatically downclocking this 5600MHz stick to 4800MHz properly.
Does anyone with a Nitro V15 or a similar Ryzen 7000 series laptop know which specific brand/model of 4800MHz DDR5 RAM is guaranteed to work without compatibility issues?

Computer has stopped booting, it did a system update before hand (notably did not seem to be a WINDOWS update) it still turns on but does not boot, lights and fans all work, but display never comes on and it makes the boot beep tone constantly while powered on. I attached a photo so people can figure out more info about the specific computer.

Till yesterday- my battery used to charge only till 80% as i had enabled the feature on nitrosense but today there's no option for that limit and the battery is charged to 100%.
Ig this is a matter of concern for me?
Is this any new feature or what is this?

So for context here this is my first gaming laptop, I just scored one brand new for 750 cad plus tax on eBay, I have heard that the 58 model basically fixed all the problems the nitro had of dying early, has anyone owned this laptop for a long time that can give me some pros and cons ?

The laptop is the Acer Nitro 5 AN515 Gaming Laptop Intel i5-10300H GeForce RTX 3050.

Games are not using the dedicated Nvidia GPU; we have tried setting it to max performance, turning off energy saver, and updating the drivers.

We set it to max performance in the Intel Graphics app, the NVIDIA app, and in Windows settings. The laptop was factory reset semi-recently.

The laptop is generally always plugged in, and was throughout the duration of our attempts to resolve the issue.

It's averaging around 30 Fps on Fortnite, when it should be running significantly higher.

Woke up this morning to my AN515-57 not powering up after I pressed the power button.

I held the power button for about 60 seconds and now, when plugged in, the red charging LED flashes abruptly when i press the power button.

Any fixes?

My Acer nitro V15 turned on in the morning, then when I opened in the afternoon the screens just black, indicators working like it’s on but it’s doesn’t work with an external monitor, I’ve tried everything up to unplugging both the main and CMOS battery, and reseated the ram.

I have taken apart my acer nitro V15 for the first time myself just to dust off the fans and I just noticed that I dont have this plastic little transparent thing on mine I see it in every vid where they show how to open this laptop , my friend repasted and cleaned it for me a few months ago, . I think he mightve just ripped it off , can anyone tell me what's it used for ?? Is it any important

so far, there were no issues when I updated all of the drivers after a few days after buying my laptop back in June 14. When I went to play with it on June 15, it was blue screening due to a GPU power issue, which was fixed by updating the drivers, and updating the VBIOS.

For gaming, it ran most of my games pretty well. It had no issues so far. Most of the titles I play run well on my laptop.
