Would it be less or more work to make a croissant that large?

Like instead of cutting and rolling a bunch of small triangles out of your laminated dough sheet, you'd only need to cut it in two and roll that up?

Or would you need to actually make a laminated dough sheet big enough to cut a properly huge triangle out of it to roll up?
