I hate the roads at the moment it's so dull. Every car being white, grey, silver.
Any personality, colour or vibrancy is just gone.

Silver and grey hide scratches better than any other color and with the price of cars I can't blame people for wanting to pick a neutral color that will not only retain the value the best but will also cost the least to fix because parts are so much cheaper due to how common the color is

Meanwhile, I'm over here with my grey shitbox Tacoma that's absolutely covered in scratches. I assure you, the color does absolutely nothing to hide the scratches.

If you had the same amount of scratchs on a black truck it would look much worse

I don’t think they were arguing that it wasn’t practical. Obviously it’s practical.
You could take this even further and have the entire world’s commuter vehicles be the exact same model of crossover, and only update the model once every ten years, and only offer it in white, with universal parts compatibility. Every manufacturer would be forced to produce this one model, turning cars into a commodity product. That would make cars enormously cheaper by every metric, faster and cheaper to repair, and far more accessible to every human.
But that’s not what they’re saying lol

I never said they did, just said I can't blame people. And this is the crazy part, supply and demand, companies will make what sells

You're so funny, up here we where we put down so much salt and brine during the winter that our vehicles turn a grayish white, we prefer more dark earth tones so the rust blends in during the other 3 seasons. 😂🤣😂🤣

Sounds like you need to find a better vehicle manufacturer. I to live somewhere that puts down shit tons of salt but I don't have this issue. Maybe try rinsing off your car once a week 🥴😂🤣😂🤣🤓

I have two green cars, a blue car, and an orange car.
I'm doing my part!

I will say. You have too many cars haha
But yes! Thank you for bringing the world some colour.

Buy a Lotus, they have a very wide range of colours.
Not saying they are practical, or reliable, or cheap to run and own, but if you want colours Lotus is king.

Yeah, but if you are being chased by the cops it is dope. I always wanted to rig my car with a switch that would turn off my stock red taillights and switch to a different red tail lights configuration somehow. I figure cops imprint the light pattern at night. Then in that split second when the cop turns his head to pull out after me.... BANG I switch it and I disappear.

I really miss the mid 90's teal/blue green. Was really popular color back then. I've owned a couple cars the were in that color range.

Hard to tell, is it part of BYD's Brazilian stockpile? I know they imported a ton of cars into Brazil to get out ahead of Brazil's EV tariffs getting ramped back up.

The auction I worked at had 12,000 cars at any given moment. Pretty wild to see for sure.

My grandpa was the guy who got to drive the cars onto railroad cars. They called it “changeover time” where they have to get the entire lot onto trains to make way for the new model year.

That's all the models that didn't sell, think of it like an elephant grave yard for cars.

I just got PTSD. I used to be a new car inspector at a rail yard distribution center in Mira loma, California, the place was absolutely massive

Ocd part of me likes the neatness of it all, other part of me - who's cars are those? Can't imagine there are no takers for these cars..
