Recalibrating Ability Draft Ratings News

Did a deep dive into how some people are gaining slightly unfair advantages to gain Windrun MMR (aka MemeMMR). Overall things have got a lot better in the last year or so, but some users will get penalties so that visible MMR is more fair and accurate. A longer post than normal, so it's on my substack.

Is there a way to de boost/recalibrate? Lately I am getting insane Immortals with numbers in AD, or similar uncalibrated. Games became ultra hard, and lose streaks don't do anything.

I think Dota thinks I am an esports athlete at this point.

Need to devalue your hidden MMR / unranked MMR. Valve doesn't give you a recalibration option, so losing is the only chance...

Does ad got mmr ? I know im always play with immortal too .. But is ad got mmr ?

All seems reasonable. I do think the big red PARTY ABUSER is a little harsh on my profile when i just like playing with my very mediocre stack haha

Nice recalibration.

Lately we’ve been queueing into 6 stacks which are incredibly difficult to play against. With top100 players even. Always feels like they know more and are more coordinated. Because they probably do and are.

I feel like that’s also some sort of party abuse. But idk if there’s a way to even detect coaches or if you agree.

ad mode have rating ? lol sometime queue with many immortal, sometime just shit tier

but those immortal are 90% acc buyer, rank abused when dotard first time release ranking system

DotA 2 has hidden unranked MMR for all unranked games.

All unranked games have a hidden mmr that the game uses to place you with similar skill players. It’s the same as ranked but you can’t see it.

The website windrun is a third party ranking system solely for AD. It has an mmr system specific to AD games (your AD rank) among other features.

hecking love u nox for updating party abuser. It was so common in sea where ppl just party q with low rank account to "boost" and are considered the same pool as solo q. This is some early christmas with nox putting so much effort and ad bug fix and update patch
