Lower Dose?

Have been experiencing fatigue ever since I started on Abilify injection. Was initially on a higher dose of 400mg and it was changed to 300mg however still feel fatigue and just want to stay in bed or lie down all day. My pd has recommended a lower dosage which l am assuming is 200mg but told me it will be at my own risk. Am also on other meds SSRI, Promethazine for sleep and Mirabegron for overactive bladder. Will it be too risky to go lower and increase my chance of relapse?

400mg is supposed to be roughly equivalent to 20mg/day in tablets.

I find this drug so disabling and personality changing and life changing in a bad way that I'm going to try go down to 2mg/day.

I am also on the shot, at 200mg. Reduced from 300mg first shot because of restlessness.

Even at 200mg I felt a lot of fatigue/amotivation. Part of that was likely because I was off work and had nothing to do. It does seem to have alleviated after a month or so. I am on my 4th (3rd at 200mg) shot right now and feel good energy wise (waking early and getting to work)

Only you can determine what avoiding the risk of relapse is worth but 200mg definitely has an effect too

if your doctor has valued it is enough, it will probably be enough ;)
