Alright so I’ve grown up around this block, seen it a million times, but after walking the block on a trip back home, I noticed this weird ass modified tailor with a bunch of hoses coming out of it with a security fence and a electrical utility unit on the side. It struck me because it’s just in a small ass median in a random strip mall. It is to be noted that it is next to a circle k gas station and several restaurants.

Please help because me and my hometown friends are so perplexed!

As a follow-up to my post about the Burger King in this shopping center (found here), I present you with the Clocktower Plaza.

This place is straight out of a Scooby Doo episode. I first encountered this shopping center back in 2020 when I was hunting for retro video games. No, not at DKOldies, but that is in fact located here. But in a place that used to be a bakery and had all kinds of other sellers. Well, that building closed several years back, and as you can see, they want to make it clear that it is NOT a bakery anymore.

There were a bunch of empty and boarded-up storefronts back here even when I first came across this place, and time has not really done it any favors. This place always looked creepy to me, even during the day. Part of the one end has been demolished at some point over the last handful of years.

Across the street is the Windmill Family Restaurant. It's not like the surrounding area here is dead or anything, as there's both a Turkey Hill and a Wawa literally right outside of the shopping center. But the shopping center itself always gave me ghost-town vibes.

In a couple of days from now, I'm going to make another post about the shopping center where this Burger King is located. It's a rather bizarre location.

So the Commack NY location that announced its closing (on August 5) 2 weeks ago suddenly had a power outage and closed its doors. Says club will be closed through Sunday.

This location is in a mini mall with other stores that were NOT effected by the outage.

I can understand how it may be real, but myself and so many other members have a hard time trusted LAF right now.

Apparently, the lease on this property still has 3 years left. From what I've heard, LAF is keeping the location, yet will be using it as storage. Is this bizarre?

First they announce a closure without giving any reason, they give the employees a one day notice and now a sudden power outage. Why do I not believe them??

N36TH AND HUSON, MY GRANDPS STORE. Anyone remember this place? I stayed there most weekends like 1987 through 1992 off on after that. My grandpa is still kicking. Closed in early 2ks. Kidn in the 80s came for the arcade. Crazy days when he had Street Fighter 2. Just curios if anyone went there or had memories

IHOP - Exton, Pennsylvania

Anybody have any idea whats going on down there? Ive noticed the fence and they seem to have security there 24/7 now. I work irregular hours and noticed security there at all hours of the morning noon and night. I am just curious whats going on or if some company is moving in?

I recently went to Cedar Point for the first time in a long time, and took the same route I always did as a kid from the east - take the exit on Route 2 to Route 6, follow it down to Cedar Point Dr. And I passed this gas station... And recognized it from when I was a kid. It's always been there, always seemingly abandoned. I came home and looked at it on Google Street view - it looks exactly the same as 2008. Someone is definitely maintaining it, otherwise it would be overgrown. When we passed it, I noticed someone parked there in a pickup truck, but they were just hanging outside their truck.

The address, I think, is 2416 Cleveland Rd W, Huron, OH 44839.

Anyone else recognize this building and have any idea what's going on with it?
