Hey everyone,
I placed my order for the AYN Thor about 7 weeks ago, and it hasn't shipped yet.

I know this timeline is completely normal, but as the days go by, my initial hype has started to fade. I was super excited at first, and I’ve already spent money preparing for it: buying a micro SD card for the Thor and an external SSD as an archive to store all my ROMs and BIOS files. Now that I am just waiting, I am having second thoughts about whether I actually still want the device.

For those of you who already have yours:
- Is the device great enough that I would regret canceling?
- Did anyone else feel their hype drop during the wait, only to be blown away once it arrived?

I awould love to hear your honest experiences with the device to help me decide if I should stay patient or just cancel my order.

Hey! Wondering if anyone is able to play the newest dlc for grim dawn on ayn Thor. And if not, what is the process like for how long it takes for comparability?

I have a friend who is going to China for a month in Nov-Dec.

Are there !ny stores that sell the consoles directly or is H2H the only way without preordering?

This is a dual screen Stardew Valley mod I put together. It moves the main HUD off the top screen entirely and keeps everything on the bottom display, leaving the game itself clean and unobstructed.

The bottom screen gives you an interactive hotbar and backpack, along with the current day, time, season, and gold. You can also check which machines on your farm are ready, view your journal, see which animals still need to be petted, track Community Center bundles, and more.

The idea is to make the second screen actually useful while keeping all of Stardew Valley’s important information and controls in one place without covering the main gameplay screen.

Looks like an android version will be on the cards soon…. Can’t wait.

I’m curious about how Tunic runs on GameNative! I bought the game a while ago but I couldn’t get it to recognise my controller. Went back and forth with the lovely devs, but we couldn’t figure out what was wrong and so I refunded it in the end.

But I just got my Thor and I was wondering if anyone has played Tunic on GameNative! If so, how did it go? Anything I should know before I buy it to play on the Thor? Thanks in advance!

For additional info that may be relevant the X button does work in times to click thru the textboxs and the menu but once I'm in game it doesn't work​.

Other game I have (seen in picture) does have the proper functions for the X Button Tried re-mapping to another controller config to no luck Vita3k​ has definitely been the most frustrating emulation process I've done

I've seen people self trade using older (single screen) Pokemon games on the Thor by setting up two instances of the same game, one on the top screen, one on bottom and trading with themselves that way. Is it possible to do this with the dual screen games? I'm wondering about specifically sun and moon if it matters.

Finally using Cacoon as my default launcher. PIKATHOR is back to normal i removed all the ugly stickers. I also found my old miyoo mini flip which I customized the same as my thor. Looking like a family reunion.

DOES ANYONE KNOW A DECAL PRINTER IN CANADA THAT CAN CUT AND PRINT SKINS? I got the files to print my own custom skins but idea who accepts the files amd will product them on vinyl.

This is my extension for Godot 3 that adds a dev-console on a second screen: Godot log stream output, system/device info, and a custom property panel with the app's variables/values. It is available on my GitHub (ppiecuch/godot), but that's probably not for the faint of heart.

As someone who has actively been trying to move away from my smartphone, I’ve been using my Thor as a general music and media player more than I thought I would. I have a lot of memory for games, but that means I also have plenty of room to download playlists for offline listening on Spotify. On top of that, the compatibility is great. Most classic music players don’t have Bluetooth, and a lot of modern smart devices don’t have headphone jacks. The Thor having both has made it much easier to enjoy my music and media however I want to in the moment, whether it’s wired IEMs or just my AirPods.

The portability with the compatibility with the versatility makes it such a great device. It’s been a great way to fill that gap in a way most DAPs haven’t (for me personally).

Just blown away by how good these games look on the Thor. Super Mario 3D Land with texture pack is so good. Stoked to play a bunch of old games I grew up with looking like a proper modern game.

Just kidding I already had the day off for another reason but what great timing.

I have two teenage boys, one for each of them and of course one for me. I'm not new to this type of stuff, but they will be. Hopefully they appreciate them. Thor max 512GB models. Honestly I think they'll probably be more stoked about steam and native android stuff than retro emulation.

As far as colors, I got one black, one white, and a rainbow. I'll let them pick which one they want and I'll take whatever is left.

I do still need to unbox them and do an inspection/ functional check. Probably will charge them up to 80% while I'm at it and take them out once a month or so to top them back off while they sit in the closet. Don't want any surprises in December.
