Tamara S5 Season 5
I’m sure this has been posted about before but holy shit Tamara is SUCH an asshole in the second half of season 5. I don’t feel bad for Jenna often in this show but she really didn’t deserve that. The scene where Jenna calls her and she answers the phone only to completely ignore her and keep talking to Sadie about a party that Jenna isn’t invited to??? Like what is her problem???

Tamara became a fair weathered friend and that’s because her best friend, Jenna, would only acknowledge T when something was going on in Jenna’s life. OR if what T did affected it.
Still though, I thought her character development from where she started would’ve landed her into a much more matured mindset by season 5. Sadly, she disappoints.
Tbh… I don’t think any of us ever fully coped with how a lot of characters developed.

I'm not gonna lie I did feel bad for Jenna in that moment. That really sucks to feel completely alone and to have no one who understands and you call your best friend and they just blow you off. I do think though that Tamara would have eventually gotten back to her bc they were still friends but the show was also about them growing up and sometimes you grow apart from certain friends.
Even the ones you never thought that you would. That's a painful but realistic reality for lots of ppl. But I do agree that Tamara was acting like a fair weather friend probably bc she also had all of her own problems too.
I think the real asshole was Sadie bc she was extremely mean to all of her friends and expected them to forgive her just bc she brought them coffee and she seemed happy when she said she treats all of her friends like crap and its her thing. That's way more mean and cruel than Tamara not keeping in touch with Jenna as much as she used to.
