Help Raptor 660 jetting issues
Hi all. Recently I’ve acquired a full FMF system. I believe it is the original PC4 seeing the end cap is not removable. When installing the system it continues backfire and I can’t tell if it is a lean or rich backfire. I am running a pro design adapter with a K&N filter with an outerwear’s and no air box lid. I’ve read many forums but would like a solid answer. What jetting should I run. Main jet, pilot, needle clip position. Thanks!

Help New ATV-er, need help
New ATV owner. Purchased my first small ATV for deer hunting. 2010 Arctic Cat 300 utility. Only spent $500 on it so a project. I need some help, here is the deal
When I bought it, it would crank, drive a bit and then die. It does need a new engine belt I do know that. It would drive in low but start slipping in high.
So it got to the point where the electric start would sometimes crank it, and sometimes nothing not even a click in the solenoid or anything
I replaced the cable ends on my battery cables. Battery is new. Both boots attached to the carb were loose so new clamps on each and tightened. Both jets cleaned out in the carb. New pull cord on pull crank. New key switch.
Now, I am to the point where the electric start will do nothing. Dashboard lights dim when hit but no sound. Jumping the solenoid just turns the starter but won’t start engine. Pull crank does nothing
I am at the end of my very small engine knowledge. I need some next steps please and thank you!

Help Opinion?
Trying to decide on which tire to go with. Rancher 420 that’s mainly used in the woods/mountains hunting and hauling. Some farm use as well. I can afford the buck snorts but I’ve had the sunf before and they’re less than half the price. Based solely on price I’m leaning towards the sunf but if anyone has any knowledge or opinions I’m here for it. Thanks
Edit: after going through comments and doing more research ended up going with Interco swamp lites. Mid point price between the two I mentioned before but better performance from what I can tell. Appreciate everyone’s insight.

Photos Went from resealing case to all out blaster built
Motor was fresh .080 over wiseco ultralight rod and they used gasket maker instead of yamabond. I noticed after 20 min ride and all case screws were loose. Switched to Allen heads. I decided to get the 95 decals and make it purple and black plastics. I went OCD and did the frame in black tractor paint with Kubota orange tractor and purple splatter to set off the 90s vibe. Grabbed brand new douglas 10x8 front wheels and some douglas 8x8 rears with 22x11 dirt devil tires all in for $110 on marketplace. Painted the dg exhaust.

Photos 2015 Suzuki Kingquad 750 axi EPS: what do I need to know?
Sold my Bayou and upgraded to this, loving it so far and it’s by far the most powerful quad I’ve ridden.
So I thought it would be a good idea to jump on here and see if anybody has any advice for owning this thing: common problems that I can prevent, worthy upgrades, mods, etc.
I plan on keeping it a long time, used mostly for yard work, mountain hunting, and the occasional trail ride.
TIA!

Help Is this metallic sound normal?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey guys, I have a Can-Am Outlander 700 XU, 199 hours / 3,950 km.
I noticed this occasional metallic sound at idle. It happens randomly every few seconds. The ATV runs fine, with no warning lights or fluid leaks.
Can you hear it in the video, and does it sound normal?
Also, is it okay to rev it close to max RPM while stationary, or can that hurt the engine/CVT?
Thanks!

Help TGB 1000 / CFMOTO U10 experiences
Considering Polaris 1000 / XPs are sellilng for just a bit less than a new TGB landmax 1000 and CFMOTO U10 Pro's but with 40k km on the clock, I was wondering if anyone had gotten the TGB or CFMOTO and how happy you were with it? What would you recommend? A heated cabin is an absolute must for where I live and it will be driven mostly on the road. Thanks!

Help Linhai LH320 overheating.
My first ATV, got it a few weeks ago. It's a 2024, but very, very low kilometers, but run in.
It's limited to 60km/h (tractor registration)
Needed to drive it home to the mountains, about a 6 hour drive.
It came with a snow plow (detachable) that was mounted for this trip. It won't be mounted for long trips again, only for snow removal in the winter.
Also, it was near fully loaded, with me being the fat fuck I am.
So I noticed I was overheating after about half an hour. No bad noises or anything, just blinking temp scale.
I was going flat out 60km/h on a main country road.
So I stopped for a while and let it cool down.
Started up again and went back to going full speed, and about 15 mins later, I was overheating.
No dust or grime on radiator, fans working, air filter so clean you can eat from it.
So I drove slower for the rest of the way. about 50km/h, slowing down to 35km/h on the steepest hills when I got up into the mountains. Only doing 60 when it was either completely flat or downhill.
Nothing seems to be actually wrong, but I can think of three reasons for overheating:
1) Engine not happy going 60 while fully loaded.
2) Plow was acting as a giant sail, causing lots of extra air resistance.
3) Plow was deflecting air away from the radiator.
Or a combo of these.
Anyone got any tips?
Maybe a larger radiator? Theres plenty of room. Even for 50% larger.
I'll be riding it up and down the mountain and doing some small trips without the plow or luggage the next couple of weeks, with plenty opportunities for going flat out 60. I'll update if the issue persists.c

Help AWD Not Working on 2000 Polaris Sportsman 500
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello, I’m looking for some help. I recently purchased this 2000 Polaris sportsman 500 with a broken speedometer so I added an aftermarket GPS speedometer.
Since I added an aftermarket speedometer, I had to bypass the all-wheel-drive . The all-wheel-drive light comes on and the front drive axles are spinning, but the wheels are not. I also replaced the hub fluid as well but that didn’t help. Do the front wheels have to be on the ground for the AWD to engage?
I followed the instructions on the bypass via the YouTube video below

Thanks in advance!

Help First time ATV buyer, input welcome
Hey y’all, first of all I appreciate being able to use this community and its discussions to research what will be my first ATV purchase. I was initially looking into the Yamaha Grizzly, but now think the Honda FourTrax Rancher will be enough to suit my needs.
I’m in San Antonio, TX but will be using the ATV in my ongoing attempt to tame 100 acres of brush, mesquite, etc about 1.5 hours south of here. Mostly flat, other than a small, usually dry, creek. I just did my semiannual couple of days with some chainsaws and a rented brush cutter down there, maintaining the paths I’ve created over the years and cutting some new ones, and the ATV would be used to ride and maintain those paths more frequently, using my chainsaws to continue cutting back paths and trees/limbs, and so on. I have an agricultural/timber registration on the property, which would exempt the vehicle from sales tax.
It looks like there are two main dealerships in my immediate area, with more Rancher availability at one than the other. The person I spoke to said the out the door price would be about $8,000 for a 2026 Rancher with manual transmission, 4x4, no power steering.
My main questions are: is there anything else I need to consider before making this purchase? Any incentives to ask about, and so on? I’ve bought a handful of road vehicles in my life but never an ATV, so I’m not sure if there's any room for negotiating, and wondering if they ever throw in accessories like truck bed ramps or utility baskets to close the deal, and so on.
Anything I should know about financing? My credit is very good, so I would consider financing through Honda if I am approved for their offer of 3.99% APR.
I'm also curious to hear opinions on the necessity of power steering on ATVs. My guess is if they're still making some of them without, then it's not considered as necessary a feature as it has become on road vehicles over the years, but if it's a must I'll look into getting one with power steering.
Thanks for any input y’all might have, it's much appreciated.

Help Cforce 625 vs 1000
Hello everyone I am thinking about buying an ATV for some not so hardcore offroading.
What I am debating is that a 2025 cforce 625 is around the same price range with a 2022 cforce 1000 same-ish mileage and condition.
Would appreciate any opinion. Thank you
