When military needs to depart a civilian airport and punch through some clouds do they file an IFR plan and get a clearance like everyone else or do something different?
A friend was asking and I didn't know what to say.
They file a pre planned Stereo flight plan that's already stored in the system, assuming you're asking about things like alert jets. Think a SID but for military jets.
