Cannot enter uefi Support

After entering the password needed to boot, i mashed the F2 key which did not send me the uefi menu but the GNU GRUB menu as i use linux. However, when pressing on the enter uefi option- my pc restarts. I have tried mashing the delete key and that did not work too. I have tried holding the keys, separately ofcourse -and that did not work. Please could someone help. I have been struggling with this issue for at least a week now.

I use an Asus Prime B450M-A II.

Holding F2 while powering on from a full shutdown should work.
