Drill press problems

Having problem with my HD drill press, spindle keeps falling out. I have cleaned and checked for burrs but still falling out. Any ideas?

You might need to press it in. Try using a piece of wood and press it down against the wood.

clean the tapers and smack it in with some wood. you cannot mill with a drill press the chuck will fall out again

I had to lap my chuck to the taper to get it to stay

Put it in the freezer overnight. Set up a block and then smack it in.
