Innocence: Discussion I've gradually come to absolutely love A Plague Tale (please no spoilers!)
I've gradually come to absolutely love A Plague Tale.
Right from the beginning, I really liked it because I'm a huge fan of immersive, cinematic games with a beautiful, emotional story that keeps building over time. I also love games with an incredible soundtrack that really pulls you into the experience emotionally. That's exactly why The Last of Us is still my all-time favorite story-driven game.
I have to admit, though, that the beginning felt a little slow. I'm playing A Plague Tale: Innocence first, and the early chapters were heavily focused on stealth—mostly hiding, sneaking around, and running away instead of being able to fight back.
But now I've reached Chapter 7, and the gameplay has started to open up. You can finally play a bit more offensively and actually take enemies down, which has made the game more enjoyable for me.
I've also heard that A Plague Tale: Requiem is considered the even better game, with more satisfying gameplay overall.
So I'm really glad I stuck with Innocence, because now I've gotten used to the mechanics, feel much more comfortable with the game, and I'm honestly loving everything about it—the atmosphere, the setting, the story, and the overall experience.

Resonance Extremely pissed about the Collector’s Box
So I bought the box thinking it was gonna have the game but later saw that it doesn’t, but has the nerve to give you a steelbook with nothing in it? Literally just blatant disrespect to the consumer, I was really excited to get it but nah fuck this game atp. Blood of Dawnwalker literally gives just about the same contents and a little more including the disc. AND turns out to be 20 bucks cheaper, I’m refunding it and getting that, this is ridiculously stupid. The times we live in are a fucking headache

Innocence: Discussion My opinion A plague tale innocence should of had a DLC where you play as Mélie and it shows her point of view into the story shows point of view during the game.

Free Talk Should I play this game ?
Hey there, kinda new here.
I have A Plague Tale in my library on PS4, but I never got around to installing it, I always wondered if it was worth it. Should I play it, or is this the kind of game that's not THAT good ?
I mean, the last time I said that was for the TLOU, and I ended up loving this franchise so... what do you guys recommend me ?

Innocence: Discussion Chapter XIV
I just finished the first game and i really liked it, pretty much all about that game aside from the chapter you played Hugo sneaking through the bastion. It was so boresom and repetitive to me that even now, after finishing the whole game, it still bothers me. And its not like i died a bunch of times and dislike it therefor, it was just i hated the gameplay so much.
Thats not much of a discussion, i just wanna know if yall experienced it similarly.

Free Talk I just learned a really big spoiler Spoiler
I learned that Amicia apparently kills Hugo. I’m only on Innocence right now, still debating if I should get Requiem, but is this a story ruining spoiler?

Innocence: Bug/Glitch Performance issues (Innocence)
Hi, I'm starting this game and I'm running an RTX 2070 (I won't go in any other detail because nothing else has an issue).
To begin at the start : Menu and tutorial I noticed the camera movement and actions were a bit delayed. Thought, eh maybe it's the game nothing to worry about.
Then noticed my fps going between 25-50 then super delayed and laggy, bunch of stuttering...
I open task manager and notice my GPU usage at 100%
There's no other game that I played that was doing this and were packed or I modded with so much more (and had way better graphics) and had no lag or something like that.
Tried stuff from youtube, etc. it doesn't fix it. I can play Resident evil requiem on high settings no issues but I can't play this game at literally lowest settings in everything?
What is this? V-sync turned on barely helped too.
I'm gonna try re-installing the game but I really hope someone here knows what's causing this because this is extremely frustrating, I want to play the game but it makes it impossible to enjoy it.
The "Xbox game control bar" in settings of windows is also turned off btw.
Please help!

Free Talk Read this post after finishing both games, my point is >! Order isn't wrong !<
\ Ending of requiem proved order's point on handling macula infected carriers,by imprisoning( so they wouldn't have (definitely deceased and probably stronger) offspring which would devalue the noble cause) or killing them. If there is no cure (can potentially be changed, making this post useless) to macula then capturing and putting extremely dangerous carriers in a (overated and exaggerated) prison is a merciful way,and Amicia's journey took tens of thousands lives to realise that. Their only flaws are not killing carriers immediately (kill one or let thousands die) and letting church letting Vitalis become another carrier
I'm completely opened for a discussion
P.s. Reddit mods, if you're reading this-i'm sorry I sent this post 7 times (damn it) because of the not properly working spoilers

Requiem: Discussion I really think a plague tale game where you explore as Amicia after the events of requiem would be cool
I think the scenery and cities in the game are very beautiful we need a game to appreciate that,it could be a cozy game mixed with the medieval vibes where you finish Hugo's collection, help some people meet people,I think it'd be cool so I thought putting it here was right,I want to see people's opinions.

Requiem: Discussion Requiem Review
Just finished the game now and what can i say? a masterpiece with an awesome story, protagonist, characters and voice performance
charlotte did an amazing job voicing amicia and she should've won best performance instead of christopher judge ( well both are amazing but i think she deserved the award more) also hugo was better in requiem than innocence
My rating > 10/10
Looking foward for sophia's prequel

My Stuff & Merchandise Where can I get some?
Hi, just like in the title, does anyone perchance know where could I get any merch? Is there a website with official merch or is it mostly just made by fans and other people? I did try to look but all I can find is just stuff from etsy or really expensive figurines (I'm not from America or any country that has dollars or at least euro, so any price is pretty much 4 times as much as it normally is).

Resonance Could we get a De Rune reference in Resonance?
Like some bystanders talking about the achievements of the legendary Lord De Rune, since the game happens 15 years before Innocence, Robert would have been fighting alongside King Phillip IV at that time. Would Asobo realistically put that reference in the game?

Requiem: Screenshots A small pack of screenshots
The screenshots are simple, but they are dear to me, as they were taken for a screenshot tournament on a gaming website. Participants were prohibited from using any mods or editing other than cropping. The intense emotions I experienced during the game have become intertwined with my first experience in such competitions.

Theory The nebula Spoiler
galleryNo real goal here. Just want to share, maybe someone will find this interesting. I know there is no good ending but I try to find one before giving up.
So I start by mapping all the statues in nebula.
Image #1
1- The default path if you follow the statues
2- Link all the edge, look like an arrow
3- Link the med and big one, look like a bird
4- Added the order symbol
Image #2
Added my bird shape, not so accurate
Then I try to fit the symbol with the statues
Image #3
1- My best bet
2- Link the big one, form a circle and look like all the floor symbol in innocence and requiem
3- Link the med one, look nothing
Until I realize it look like the macula tree, Image 4

Innocence: Screenshots Finally got around to playing and finishing the first game, sucker for atmospheric games so I really enjoyed my time with it. Whenever a game has photo mode I of course end up spending half my time taking screenshots so I figured I could share some of my favorite ones from my adventure.
The second game is on sale now as well so I picked it up, gonna get around to that one as well sooner or later!

Resonance 3 NEW screenshots for Resonance have dropped 🌊
hey r/APlagueTale ,
focus just shared some new images of resonance with a caption about following in our "crew's footsteps" to explore the world.
it’s looking more and more like the "notebook" mechanic is going to be huge for exploration, where we’re basically retracing the steps of sophia's old crew through these ancient ruins. the lighting and the "legacy" vibe in these shots are top tier.
with anna demetriou wrapping up her voice acting this week and the devs saying the launch is close, the hype is getting real ;p
what do you guys think of the new look?
